Configuration options include: - Changing the cap on endurance - Change how effective endurance is - Make endurnace that passed the set cap grant extra defense instead - Choose if endurance reduces damage before or after defense - How much damage defense reduces (optionally overrides the vanilla difficulty defense changes) - Make endurance instead become a percent increase to your defense (20% endurance = +20% defense) - Replace both defense and endurance calculation with a percent reduction that exponentially slows down growth as you get closer and closer to 100% damage reduction - Configure the curve for the above optionally And possibly more to come if I have more ideas and feel like it. Whats wrong with vanilla mage? - Jungle armor is arguably the best pre-HM mage armor, and it is available pre-boss - Demon Scythe is one of the best pre-HM mage weapons, and it is also available pre-boss - Gem Staves are very weak and hard to use - Gem robes only make an armor set with hard to obtain items like the Wizard Hat, and Magic Hat This mod aims to fix all of these issues in various ways. Gem Staff Changes: All gem staves have been buffed with velocity and pierce, and ruby, diamond and amber staves have been made more unique. Ruby Bolts now move much faster Diamond Bolts leave behind shards while they travel Amber bolts now split into three smaller bolts at the end of its lifetime Armor Changes: Jungle armor is now post evil boss, with shadow scales/tissue samples required to craft it. A new pre boss armor set has been added, which is a rework of the vanilla vanity set, the Ancient Set The vanilla head vanity slot item, the Garland now acts as a pre hardmode mage helmet. Other Weapon Changes: Demon Scythe is now found in Shadow Chests Book of skulls has been majorly buffed. Weather Pain has been buffed, and now functions better as a magic support weapon.
