Utility Slots Utility Slots is a quality-of-life mod that adds dedicated inventory slots and automatic management for commonly used consumables. The goal is simple: keep important consumables out of your main inventory while making healing, mana restoration, food and buffs easier to manage. Dedicated Utility Slots The mod adds four permanent dedicated slots: • Healing — stores your preferred healing potion • Mana — stores your preferred mana potion • Wormhole — dedicated storage for Wormhole Potions • Food — dedicated storage for food buffs These items are kept separate from general Utility Storage. 20-Slot Utility Storage Utility Slots also provides 20 additional slots for consumable items. • All 20 slots are available immediately • No accessory is required • No crafting or unlock item is required • No storage upgrades are required • Healing, Mana, Wormhole and Food items use their dedicated slots instead Utility Storage is intended for potions, buffs and other useful consumables that would normally occupy your main inventory. Automatic Item Management When suitable items enter your inventory, Utility Slots can automatically organize them for you. • The strongest available healing potion is moved to the Healing slot • The strongest available mana potion is moved to the Mana slot • Food is selected based on Well Fed tier and buff duration • Wormhole Potions are consolidated into the Wormhole slot • When the current stack runs out, the next best available item is automatically promoted Automatic sorting pauses while your inventory is open, so items will not move around while you are managing them manually. Auto Heal & Auto Mana Utility Slots includes optional automatic healing and mana restoration. By default: • Auto Heal is enabled at 75% health • Auto Mana is enabled at 75% mana Both features and their activation thresholds can be changed in the mod configuration. When using healing or mana items, the priority is: Dedicated Utility Slot → Utility Storage → normal Terraria sources This also works with Terraria's regular Quick Heal and Quick Mana controls. Quick Buff Integration Utility Storage integrates directly with Terraria's Quick Buff system. When you activate Quick Buff: 1. Eligible consumables stored in Utility Slots are checked first 2. Terraria then checks your normal inventory and other vanilla sources Food stored in the dedicated Food slot is also supported. Utility Slots does not automatically consume buffs over time. Buff consumables are only used when you activate Quick Buff yourself. Heart Pickup Protection The mod can prevent Hearts from being picked up when part of their healing would be wasted. For example, if a Heart restores 20 HP but you are only missing 10 HP, it will remain on the ground. Once you are missing enough health to benefit from the full healing amount, it can be picked up normally. This feature can be disabled in the mod configuration. Dedicated Accessory Slots Utility Slots also adds two dedicated accessory slots: • Wings • Boots This keeps movement accessories separated from your regular accessory slots. Interface Utility Slots uses a separate inventory panel containing the four dedicated slots and Utility Storage. The panel can be: • Moved around the screen • Hidden or shown • Collapsed to display only the essential utility slots Its position and state are saved for your character. Boss Fight Rework

Super quick what this adds - reworks how HP works (also adds new type of gamemode), adds Impact frames, better invulnerability as well as how effects work. New HP system: Instead of taking bunch of damage and then healing, you will have set amount of hits per life (every hit you lose a heart that will not regenerate). By default, this activates when you spawn a boss, altho in settings you can chose for the new hit system to take place all of the time or for it to be disabled even if you decide to fight a boss. Amout of hit can be changed too. By default hits allowed are 3 in prehardmode, 6 in hardmode and 9 post moonlord as it is meant mostly for other modded content. Enable Whole game mode if you want to play the mod to its fullest and live in new HP system at all times. Impact frames: This mod also adds impact frames when you get hit. You can either disable them in config or change their duration, color or how they show up. They only are applied when you get hit whilst you also are in new HP system. Better invulnerability: There are 3 parts to this - spawn invulnerability - since I have seen way too many ppl on YT struggle with bosses like skeletron doing instant damage, there is setting to give you invul when boss spawns. By default, 1 second. Hit invul - after you get hit you get 0.5s of invul to make it fair. As usual can be changed and finally -projectile invul - this is experimental feature, where you can't get hit by something like moonlords laser twice. Inspiration taken from Minecraft projectile ids. Effect rework: Since there are many effects that damage you over time, I made it so there is setting where you take heart every damage tick or where they just get removed. In most recent update, I made it also work with other mods, altho yet again, this is just experimental. A bit of Defenders lore, development stuff and credits. This is 3rd mod made by Defender_JS Idea suggested by UltraShiny Used hardware: M4800. Used Gemini for debugging. Whole game mode part suggested by irl friend - Gregor.
