Bitcoin Roleplay

LARP as a cryptobro by pretending to trade in-game coin for Bitcoin and vice-versa with real-time prices (obviously no real purchasing of Bitcoin is done). This mod might only work in the United States and places that use a comma to delimit thousands place and dot to delimit decimal. By default 1 copper is set to 1 USD and BTC/USD information is scraped from https://www.google.com/finance/quote/BTC-USD, which uses commas and dots in said fashion. Bitcoin only because it tends to have a small spread which makes the simulated purchasing and selling a little bit more plausible. Also because I don't actually know that much about crypto and stuff like that. Multiplayer compatible, and you can transfer BTC funds without fee. You may notice a small lag when entering a world, this is just at the start so that you can't play without a proper price for BTC. Getting the price information only blocks on entering a world. Commands: /crypto -h (display help) /crypto (This will display your balance and other useful stats) /crypto buy /crypto buyfromgold /crypto sell /crypto sellfromgold /crypto send /crypto sendfromgold (Both sender and receiver have their BTC price updated when send/sendfromgold is used) (Don't include the square brackets in the command) The base frequency at which to update the Bitcoin price information, the USD-Terraria Gold worth ratio, and the fee for buying and selling are configurable. Make sure to Save and Quit to properly exit, mitigating my poor coding decisions. If anyone knows UI well enough to make an interactive interface with buttons for each of the commands and current price info, hmu and you can experience my awful codebase. -- Update 0.2: - Added randomness to scrape frequency (update wait time can be from 1 to 4 times the configurable value), to reduce the chances of getting rate limited or blocked from bot detection because of exact periodicity. Deals Melee Damage. Sapphire Crux: Switch modes with Right Click, has added damage based on Max Mana, Mana scaling increases as you progress. Deals Magic Damage. Amethyst Crux: Switch modes with Right Click, has added damage based on Max minions. Deals Summon Damage. Zenith Crux works, visuals are a bit borked cuz I accidentally deleted the helper file and I don't feel like making it again right now... ToDo: What the CRUX?!: post-MoonLord item, not intended for balance just for lols. Scales off the other three's stats (hp, mana, and summon slots), will alternate projectiles based on a cycle. Silver Crux: The Original idea, based on an item from one of my D&D campaigns. That one will be more like a quest, might be Generic damage most likely. DragonSmiter Crux: Some Ranged variant on the crux idea, not entirely sure what I can do with it so leave comments. Maybe have it shoot more bullets and have higher crit based on game state?

This is my first mod that i have ever made in my life i actually created it because of getting experience on codding :D anyways this mod adds a new weapon called 'Plasma Sword' i relaized that in early hardmode there are no good swords with a projectile so i created it! You can craft this sword right after beating wall of flesh and breaking the crimson altars! The Recipe is only 30 palladium bars.
