Rayquaza descends from the ozone layer as a two-phase flying serpent boss. THE FIGHT Phase one is Rayquaza himself — a 24-segment airborne worm that never burrows and never splits apart. He hunts you across open sky, weaving like a snake in flight, and opens up with two attacks: Extreme Speed — he stalls, locks on, then commits to a straight-line charge at 30 blocks a second, trailing afterimages. Read the wind-up and move. Hyper Beam — a charged orb gathers at his mouth before a sweeping beam locks onto you and drifts across your position. It only ever lands one hit, but that hit is 250 damage. Take him to zero and he doesn't die. He climbs vertically out of the world, the sky splits open with pillars of light, and he returns as MEGA RAYQUAZA with a fresh health bar and a much shorter temper. Phase two is relentless. He sweeps back and forth across you in near-horizontal charges, turning the instant each pass ends, fire streaming off his entire body. Individually the hits are lighter than his base form — you just never get a break from them. Two attacks punctuate the frenzy: Dragon Ascent — a prismatic beam that locks on and hunts you, drifting across your position for as long as it burns. Keep moving sideways and you can stay ahead of the swing. Draco Meteor — he rears back, the sky is announced, and a burning rock comes down on your position. Get clear of the impact or lose most of a health bar to the blast. SUMMONING Craft a Pokeball and throw it in open sky. He appears overhead, holds still for three seconds so you can get set, then the fight begins. DETAILS - 150,000 HP in phase one, 250,000 in phase two - Two original boss themes, one for each phase - Full multiplayer support - Custom boss bar, voice lines and defeat sequence - Screen shake, impact flashes and a fully scripted transformation Designed as a post-Moon-Lord challenge. Don't even bother killing it, as it will teleport away - but if you happen to catch it with a bugnet, you'll have yourself a very helpful friend that will assist you the very end in the form of its own item! While the instructions are always available on the item's tooltip - you can hold right-click to set the fast travel location with the Magic Bug's staff, and hold left-click to deploy the Magic Bug to teleport you to the location!
