We're back again with a simple idea this time. An island conquest map, based on "Stranded Deep". You, and your team claim an island (where you're gonna spawn on. TPA would be handy..) and defend it while building your base. The large middle island is the ONLY spot where you can find SpecOps and Military grade gear. There's a small chance of a firearm spawning at your island. For better armament, you must go to the middle island, or one of the two ships laying around the map. Each island has animal spawns, food, medical, clothing, supply and melee spawns. There's iron ore and trees on each island. BEWARE: When going to Carcosa (the middle island) you will encounter bears and wolves! So be careful when going there alone! ========================================================== This is my second map I've made myself, and like the sixth map I've published on the Unturned Workshop. This version consists of many things that were excluded from the past preturned maps. Such as a car dealer ship built into where scorpion 7 is, finally you can buy a car in a non makeshift environment. I pulled back all the chairs as well to allow you to use the rest gester on them to sit down and enjoy the day. I hope with these changes the idea of role play in unturned will popularize. Map designed to provide balanced gameplay, with plenty of places to build your own base. Some areas may or may not be filled with locations in the future. Map does not use custom assets (thumbnail is just a demonstration of my close-to-none Photoshop skill), so you only need Unturned. And not-wooden PC. Bunch of friends recomended, due to the size of the map. Bit of a backstory now. When the virus begun to spread out, infected areas had been separated and catalogued by chronological number. After the discovery, paramilitary genetically modified mercenary group, Green Moon, had been sent to contain the virus. Soon after that, some civilians considered the presence of mercenaries as threat to their independence and set few camps in the woods, as points of resistance. Just a few days later the smugglers found their way into the sector, sniffing easy coin selling weapons to the rebels, so they settled on one of the beaches and fortified a cave. As the cartographer died soon after infection started, smugglers are the only source of maps here - thus the maps are scrawled with smuggler's notes. Whole sector quickly fell to the virus, as there were very few points of medical assistance and great shortage of most other supplies. You're one of the lucky enough to live until present day. There is little risk as long as you're cautious - virus does not spread through air. Find a vehicle, sector is filled with vast forests. There should be hardly any problems with clothes. And the most important. Don't die. NEWEST ADDITION - Training Obstacle Course! Give yourself a Zubeknakov/Maplestrike, pistol of choice and 4 sticky grenades and score best time you can! Targets marked with red are civilians, shooting them causes you to add 10 seconds to your timer, so as leaving one enemy "alive". There are 4 ways that are blocked - you have to breech them with your sticky grenades (these are marked with orange X). Every additional magazine beyond one is 2 seconds added. And please, don't bug out the "barbed wire" obstacle, where you have to crawl - you can stand up in certain places and it's equal to cheating. To do list: Build something more in south-west of the map Build more "natural-like places to set up a base" Add cars on highway Build new city in south of the map - Heshteck To consider list: Tweak guns and ammo spawn rates in some places Add more medical locations (currently 5,5, counting witch's hut too) I'm eager to see some feedback from y'all!
