US forces became involved in ground combat operations in 1965, and at their peak they numbered more than 500,000.The US also engaged in a sustained aerial bombing campaign. Meanwhile, China and the Soviet Union provided North Vietnam with significant material aid and 15,000 combat advisers. Communist forces supplying the Viet Cong carried supplies along the Ho Chi Minh trail, which passed through Laos." Perfect for hard-core multiplayer gameplay to role-playing as a US soldier in a Vietnam campaign. Mostly realistic, besides the few zombies scattered 'bout. The map contains one Mid-way Class Aircraft Carrier, a US military base, small Vietnam outposts and plenty of wrecks and more. The map is of medium size and, of course, includes a Huey spawn, alongside plenty of boats. With the threat stemming much more from Humans rather then the limited Zombie population, and dense forests and jungles to cover you, alongside what might be described as the mother of all sniper perches. I have also learned my lesson on balanced spawns, and variety. The carrier has it's own unique spawns, same for all the different military bases. Vietnam Jungle

This is my second Vietnam Unturned map! There are no spawns placed around the map, but there is one singular spawn point on the outside, from which you must teleport to where you want to be. I figured this would reduce the chance of not being able to build where you want on the map due to the "Too close to spawn" message, and now people can't accidentally spawn in an enemy compound or such. If you like this map, please upvote and/or favorite, it helps out a lot when it comes to making maps, as I can figure out what the community wants more of. EDIT: There is an item I used in the making of this map that was known as "large Pallet" in the editor, and I thought it was part of the game but it turns out its not and so it's placed at several locations on the map. You will not see it unless you have the mod required, and I honestly can't figure out what mod it's from. My apologies for that one, folks. If you use this map in a video, please give me credit (If you don't it's no big deal, but it's a courtesy thing).

Midway Atoll: Sand Island

Midway Atoll, part of the Hawaiian Archipelago, lies almost exactly mid-way between the US mainland and the Asian continent. Of the islands that make Midway, Sand Island is the largest - despite measuring just 4.8 square kilometres. Every year, over three million birds make Midway Atoll their home, but when a flight travelling between Russia and Canada makes an emergency landing the birds stop returning at night and one by one residents start to fall ill... After contact with the island is finally lost, the matter is referred up beyond classified levels, and the military is deployed in an attempt to stabilize the viral outbreak. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note, some mods are required in order to play this map the way it was intended... If these mods are not installed some objects/areas/buildings will be missing or incomplete. (Direct links to each mod are located to the right of this page.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A lot of effort has been spent trying to iron out any bugs or glitches within the map, although, as this release is one of the first a few issues may (definitely) remain. This is also my first workshop submission, and it would be massively appreciated if any bugs or issues were shared in the comments below - I'll get around to fixing them in time for the next release! (As well as improving and adding more details to this map). Between now and then, i'm going to start on a new project (map) - and can hopefully learn from my mistakes and issues I encountered (many) during the building of this one. I'm interested in the idea of collaborating with anyone, my brain has been turned to mush towards the end of creating this map, and it might be nice to get some external influences in the future.
