You might've heard of this map name from CS:GO. If you have... welcome back! If not, don't worry, you wouldn't miss much anyway. Anyways, I finally decided to remake the map (from scratch, unfortunately) in CS2. Reason for that is because I did try porting the original map from CS:GO to CS2, but it didn't let me do it at all for an unknown error/reason. I tried searching the web for answers on this problem, but nothing seemed to match my issue. Eventually I finally decided to just make the map from scratch and... it looks like fy_snow (very popular duel map from the CS 1.6 days).

Danger Zone makes a colourful return, this time in a once beautiful Portuguese island which has seen better days. Click here to view a video showcasing the map at the initial release! A letter to all participants: Thank you for volunteering in the Ember Days Experiment. On the Isle of Ember Days (a translated name of course), a recent volcanic eruption has ravaged the island. With all human life escorted from the island to safety, it's the perfect environment to hold a risky, dangerous experiment away from civilization. Volunteers in the experiment please be aware of hot lava pools, live electrical shocks from damaged hardware, and piping hot steam geysers that may pop up at any moment. These environmental hazards may cause irreparable damage to you or others at any time. Thank you once again for participating.
