A one-map Halloween campaign with a unique finale and a lot of custom content. New textures, models, items, sounds, music and an all new terrifying enemy! This campaign will require some puzzling and searching for key items, so enable Instructor Hints in the options, for a much better experience. It is recommended to first play this map on normal difficulty, before attempting harder ones. A readme with a walkthrough is included in the vpk if you get stuck or are a completionist. STORY In the early 20th century there was a stage magician known as Charles England. At a young age he was drawn to the supernatural; First stage magic, then actual magic. Along with a group of like-minded individuals, he formed a society known as the Veridical Gentleman's Club (Later known as the Veridical Society). Their goal was to separate truth from fiction in the area of the paranormal. At some point in time he came into the possession of an ancient tome called the Book of Asrahmat. Cautious of the terrible powers contained within, he retreated to a remote area of England. The Winterriver Manor was located on a small island in the middle of a lake, far removed from society. It was hard to reach, accessible only by one small feeble bridge. It is unknown who built the manor and if Charles England had always been its soul inhabitant, but it is believed that it is here that he first started experimenting with the book. The book contained instructions for dark rituals and incantations, including spells to contact the other side. Charles England believed that maybe he could contact his late wife and daughter, but instead he contacted something else entirely. It started with a strange feeling of being watched at night. Then strange sounds, muddy footsteps in the main hall, the sound of running feet, whispers in the dark... Charles must have believed that the lake would provide some kind of natural barrier for the evil that he would unintentionally unleash, but he was gravely mistaken. The catacombs underneath the manor provided a fertile soil for evil to fester. Perhaps a great darkness had always slept at the bottom of that lake, biding its time and waiting to be awakened. It didn't take Charles long to realise that he was in contact with neither his late wife nor deceased daughter, but with something dark that fed on his grief and fears. Charles England concluded that since the book had unleashed this calamity, that the solution could also be found within its pages. It is here that he came upon the Seal of Asrahmat; an ancient incantation to imprison powerful entities. He entrapped the darkness in a heavy stone coffin, located in the attic of the manor, where it would be 'closest to the stars'. For many years, the arcane barrier held strong. But for reasons unknown, the power of the seal has started fading and now evil roams unchecked. A plague of undead creatures has started swarming the land, pouring forth from the manor and the darkness within. Four heroes travel to the manor in order to find the source of this evil and put a stop to it. You must find the book and restore the Seal of Asrahmat!

From now on, I'm taking over the campaign and will provide you with active updates, so if you're still subscribed to ANY other versions of this campaign, you should unsubscribe/delete those completely, before trying this one. My goal is to keep the campaign alive by providing updates to fix existing and arising problems, while preserving the campaign overall to be as close to what it originally was, so your feedback is invaluable. With this release, I push fixes to most problems I'm aware of. Be sure to report whatever I may have missed. Check out the changelog if you're interested. Silent Hill campaign is based on the game of the same name on PS1. Warning: This is a very long campaign with dark and foggy envienronment, containing puzzles. There are 12 chapters and 4 random endings. A full average walkthrough may take up to 3 hours to complete from start to finish. If you've never played original Silent Hill game on PS1, I suggest starting on Normal or Advanced difficulty at best, since it's natural to get lost here. Having someone in the team, who played the original game will provide huge advantage, since navigation, item spawns and puzzles are mostly the same. Enable in-game instructor in multiplayer options if you need hints on the puzzles. This will make your life a bit easier, however, do not expect to get the solutions or directed exactly where to go. This add-on changes survivor characters to actively speak their lines. - When another survivor is caught by a special infected, that person's name is called. - When someone hits by the Boomer's vomit, Other survivors call that person's name. - If everyone gets hit by vomit, they tell them to fight without scattering. - When the chargers rush right in front of the survivor, the survivor is surprised. - Survivor screams while Charger grabs the survivor and rushes. - If 2 or more tanks appear, the survivor will warn team that 2 tanks are coming. - When someone provokes the Witch, the Survivors immediately call that person's name. - When another survivor dies, they call their name and mourn. - If the survivor is incapacitated and neglected, that survivor continues to moan in pain. - If all survivors survive with the escape vehicle, the survivors rejoice.
