Some skins are made by the community, some others are made by me. With new overhauled code by Manacat! Inspired by RF's RNG TLS Skin VScript mod. Features: - New function: If you want to pick up a weapon that you already have but it has a different skin, keep the interact/pick up button pressed to swap to the weapon with the different skin. - Each melee you find has a chance to use a random skin. You will see random skins even in the same level. - From 2 to 4 skins for each melee weapon. - The skin of the weapon you picked up will be saved to the next chapters. - Some rare skins. - Default and TLS skins remain untouched, so those are still reskin compatible. - Some UVmap and worldmodel fixes. [VSCRIPT] No Friendly Fire on Charger Carry

Friendly fire already gets disabled when being pummled. So why is it on when you're being carried? I don't know if theres an explanation for it. I don't like it either way, so this vscript turns off carry friendly fire. Only problem is that friendly fire will still be counted and the survivors will vocalize. But no damage is taken, big win! This mod will only work on local servers or a server that has the mod. Only the host/server needs it.

This mod is a continuation of the original Hell Chant. Hell Chant 2 had to be split in half due to my add-on size limits, see the required item. Both parts combined will replace L4D2 contagion music with DOOM 64 Tracks (1997). Credit goes to Aubrey Hodges, all campaigns have different tracks dedicated to them. You can view the associated .jpg images to determine which of the .vpk files is the sound mod. Step 2: Download and install GCFScape -> https://nemstools.github.io/pages/GCFScape-Download.html Step 3: Open the mod with the tool and extract its content on your desktop. Step 4: Go to Steam>steamapps>common>L4D2 and create a new empty folder. You can name it anything you want (like customfolder). Step 5: Move the content of the .vpk inside your new folder. Step 6: Go to Steam>steamapps>common>L4D2>L4D2 and locate a text file named gameinfo. Open the file and scroll down until you see "Search Paths". Add a new line of text above the "Game update" line. It should look like: "Game yourfoldername", with "yourfoldername" having the same name as the newly created folder from Step 4. Save the changes. Cinematic Weapon Sounds

I've sampled weapon sounds from games like Black, Cry of Fear, Madness Combat, Parasite Eve, Afraid of Monsters, L4D1 beta stuff. Lots of car door slams, all combined and heavily edited. This doesn't aim for super duper realistic realism, I just wanna hold M1 and enjoy the beef. It's made for Nightmare stuff / to fit L4D1 anims, there's nuance. For example the SG is replaced with a fully automatic AA-12 shotgun there. The magnum is replaced with a revolver, which comes in a separate add-on. Credit goes to Kreze for making a few reload sounds, miscellaneous stuff for deploys. Borrowed SwiftSide's AWP sounds, and Chimi's mag drop script, adjusted it. You're meant to tweak your game audio, don't use full volume with this. Clips in the 1st vid are taken from movies; Heat (1995), and Scarface (1983). Separated and alternative versions can be found here.

My first attempt at a campaign! be nice. Undead Smackdown is a campaign based on the journey to an arena where a wrestling match between the wrestling legends Ric Flair and Randy Savage was going to take place. However the infection spread forcing the match to be canceled leaving the ring in the arena. I started this project about a year ago and only finished it recently. I have learnt alot from making this and hope to make more campaigns soon. This is in its beta stages and has only been playtested by me. any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. I no longer want to say I will NEVER update this map again. I will strive in future to fix some of the buggy bits, but some of the fundamental flaws with the overall design is going to stay. I'm not George Lucas, How the campaign is currently is how its staying. That being said anything MASSIVELY game breaking please let me know. Lastly Death Below is still being worked on whenever I get a creative stride. It may take another 5 years but it is still coming. This campaign has been remade, it is highly recommended you download the remake here instead. This version is the original, classic version of the campaign and is not as polished as the remake. The Survivors leave their hiding spot in a set of apartments and head off to the local mall in hopes of an evacuation. When they arrive at the mall they find that the military have completely abandoned it and things had gotten out of hand. Now they must get to the mall's rooftop and attempt to get rescued. Ok, I'm better, This is a mod made by (redacted until i can get the link), It's a cool witch noise, wish I could find the source. I edited this so the BGM isn't in the file, it conflicted with my other BGM, and I know other people probably had the same issue. There isn't actually any audio on the BGM, so it seems pretty harmless. This thing is awesome when you don't have to pay $8 for it! Replaces the Auto Shotgun/Tactical Shotgun with the Golden Combat Shotgun (A.K.A. Benelli M4 Super 90) from Killing Floor on arby26's auto shotgun animations. Includes shoot and bolt sounds, but does not include deploy or shell load sounds because they are shared with the SPAS-12 and I want to avoid conflicts with other mods.
