Multiplayer boss scaling in single player

Vanilla Terraria has several enemy difficulty changes that depend on the number of players in Expert and above. Bosses get more HP, some have AI changes or become more resistant to knockback, and some event enemies get more HP. This mod allows the user to change how many players the game sees when making these adjustments, allowing for heightened boss stats in single player, or reduced stats in multiplayer. Set the number of players for the game to scale based on through mod configuration. Old One's Army's etherian mana drops also scale with multiplayer, and this effect is also emulated here. There is a quirk here where the drop rates aren't boosted for the first wave, however, and while I'm fairly sure this quirk comes from vanilla, I'm not certain. There's also the general multiplayer quirk where if you have enough players, the 1 mana you get per kill can't keep up with the absurd mana limits that would come with that many players. Show your favorite wires on your minimap and world map! This mod lets you render the red, blue, green, and yellow wires on maps. To use this mod, simply load a world and place a few wires. The map updates whenever you break or place wires. The visibility of wires depends on your wire viewing settings in your inventory: - Set "Mechanical Display" to "Forced" (not "Normal") - Set the wires you want to view to "Bright" (not "Faded" or "Classic") Config options: - Toggle the mod with "Wires On Map Enabled". This can be useful if you want to disable the mod and wire rendering without leaving the game. - Show teleporters. - Change the of the wires that are drawn on the map. - Show wires in undiscovered areas by disabling "Hide Wires In Fog Of War". - ^ You can choose to make unmapped areas render a faded version of the wire by enabling "Fade Wires In Fog Of War" to multiply their opacity by "Opacity Multiplier". - Change the color of each wire. - Debugging messages, whenever the map is updated or drawn (the second one may be spammy, as it draws the map layer each game tick). Known issues: - In multiplayer, the client only receives tiles 300x300 around the player. As a result, the player can't render wires for the entire map. I don't know what this mod should be about, so it adds 15 items that have no connection with each other. As for now it adds: Amber Necklace - Magic post Skeletron Prime weapon which shoots amber javelins that set enemies on fire. Arcus Deus - Super fast ranged post Destroyer "reapeater". Cactigun - Early game gun. Yup, that's all. Dark Crystal - Early hardmode eatable buff item. Forbiden Tome - Mage and ranged early hardmode weapon that shoots 10 bullets at a time. Shooting Guide - Early hardmode accessory that increasses ranged damage by 5% Toximachina - Upgrade to Toxikarp and Megashark. Mudbricks - well... I refuse to update this list ok. I will slowly add more stuff, maybe. I love the Lionheart gunblade from The Story of Red Cloud, but its sad it doesn't scale with later content so I made this small mod to change that! It adds a base Gunblade that uses the original stats, and the Lionheart Gunblade is given a new sprite, a late game recipe, and greater stats. Permissions I give full permission for everyone to utilize any code from this mod for their own projects. Description Turns Terraria unhinged :) . Favorite dictionaries to get access to a list of words and effects. The damage scales based on the keyboard used, so lower-tier abilities can still be used later on with no issues. (Note: You may need to rebind some keys to avoid conflicts with typing, will find a workaround for this eventually!) Main Features 1. New keyboard weapon type (currently scales with magic damage). 2. Dictionary item type to grant words and effects when favorited. 3. Custom typing effects, projectiles, and visual feedback. 4. Fast-paced combat. Notes 1. This mod is mainly a passion project.
