PS, this map is total garbage. I'll probably get around to making it better sometime soon. The map is set in the mid/western Michigan area with a moderate military presence. Background: 8/25/16. An infected passenger from an airline coming from Canada leaves the airport. The man checks into the Grand Rapids hospital, feeling extremely sick, and dies minutes after arriving. Minutes later, he is reported having risen and had attacked 3 hospital workers, each noticing a bite. The patient continues through the hospital, until being trapped in a room by a few nurses, but the bitten patients are starting to turn. The police arrive and attempt to block off the hospital, but their tasers and batons failed to stop the zombies, shots are fired, and the video is released to the public, sparking riots, and a massive riot hits Lansing. An infected cop is transfered to a med center in Lansing, but turns as they arrive in the city. Within 30 minutes, half the riot is infected. Police open fire on the crowd, the National Guard is deploying to both Lansing and Grand Rapids. In Lansing, the military opens fire on the almost entirely infected riot, and seeing that they can take bullets and keep moving, the 10 man response team is quickly overrun. Firebombs fall on lansing the next day, wiping out most of the horde, but by then, infected patients have spread to almost every corner of the state. Troops begin search and destroy missions, and in Grand Rapids, every citizen in downtown is considered infected, and are contained in the hospital. The hospital turns into a feeding ground, soldiers and police are ordered to shoot everyone at the hospital, but it's too late. The fence has been broken, and the city becomes a battlefield. At the same time, every other city begins to turn to the infected. Evacuations are ceased, and civilians are ordered to gather near Forest Hills, but only a handfull arrive, they are taken to a rumored safe haven on Mackinac Island... Now it's up to you. One of the few that hadn't made evac or didn't leave before it got bad. Good luck, you'll need it. How it got the name: Grand Rapids was nicknamed "Beer City", so i decided to zombify it! V1.0 Initial release! To be added: More vehicle wrecks, More zombie spawns, removing "Mod" props WARNING: Dont look at the bugs. V1.1 Removed floating trees, bushes. Added crashed aeromed helicopter V1.2 Added more hills, and some of da gud berrys yo V1.3 Added Decatur, several homes outside of towns, and a couple of farms, updated Fort Custer, and added a secret location. and thanks to "SCP-173" for map making advice!

Deep under the snowy wasteland of Canada, this vault was designed to house thousands of souls. None survived the failure of the primary generator, as the radiation inside killed all of those whom had huddled there to escape the surface. Nearly a hundred years later, you stumble out of the wasteland above, and must survive in the inhospitable landscape... My first attempt at a published map! I learned quite a few things while making it, and while I don't quite know how to make custom notes to flesh out the story, I hope the surroundings do a good enough job. Like Russia, this is designed to have a bit of progression, but it's far more linear. As a hint, to get out of the first area, you need power... While the map is fully finished and playable, there is always room for improvement, so I'm quite open to suggestions.
