A new take on the Yukon map, This Map was made to be a larger and more multiplayer oriented version of the Yukon official map. Because this map is more multiplayer oriented than the original Yukon there are more items and supplies to be found. To balance this, zombie presence is through the roof. If you enjoy this map please give it an upvote. This Map is very old and dates back to Late 2015, if you find any Problems or things you think are mistakes in map creation, please let me know. (I cannot fix any problems with modded objects/items, please report those problems to the person who made the mod.) NOTE: There may be issues with some objects, (for example being able to see it from a mille away.) however they are only minor and shouldn't affect gameplay. And now for that story I promised you. Timeline: July 1986: Sirius-7, A private labaratory owned by Big J is Built on the island of PEI to help them create new genetically modified animals and plants for use in their fast food chain. November 1988: Big J is forced to shut down Sirius-7 by the government because of Addictive and potentially harmful Additions to Food made from livestock and berries, Sirius-7 is demolished. March 1993: Tensions between Russia turn cold towards Americans and other NATO members after a political leader is assasinated by a rogue CIA agent. Feburary 1994: In a desperate effort to prevent war, The government authorizes Big J to rebuild Sirius-7 in Washington, with the goal of Sirius-7 researching and developing biological weapons. Feburary 1994: Almost immediatley after Sirius-7 is reactivated and repurposed, Big J officially renams SIrius-7 to Scorpion-7 likely because of the shocking nature of its purpose. January 1995: Scorpion-7's biological weapons have been enough to make Russia reluctant to go to war, However the possibility still looms. June 1995: A smaller Scorpion-7 facility is built in the Yukon, to test the bio weapon in a cold, harsh enviroment. December 1995: Scorpion-7 Scientists accidentally discover how to reanimate dead tissue, bringing back dead creatures, the government hides this from the public. January 1996: Scorpion-7 scientists utilize reanimation of dead tissue in Soldiers, making them resistant to gunshots and other damage, they are named "alphas" April 1996: Scientists create a bomb that releases The gas used to reanimate dead tissue, as well as making the ones affected aggresive and contagious. April 1996: Their prototype bomb Detonates for an unknown reason, and many scientists become alphas. Survived that wall of text? good, here's another. After the bomb detonated the facility was overrun within minutes, a cargo helicopter pilot and some survivors managed to escape via Osprey and contact local Authorities, however before they could land an alpha jumped out through a hidden compartment and killed most of them, the rest died when the Osprey crashed. Meanwhile a local special forces team as well as police immediatley made a barricade at the entrance road to scorpion-7. However they underestimated the alphas and were eventually overwhelmed by their horde. After recieving radio silence from the assault team, Authorities realized the gravity of the situation and began evacuations. Because of the delayed decision the horde was too close to the aiport for a safe escape from there, so they set up a evac center at the train station and pakced people onto communter trains. Whitehorse and everything south of it was lost before they could begin evacuations. With the horde approaching and no other methods of escape the remaining special forces teams gathered and prepared to make a last stand on the airport runway. They had one last trick up their sleeve, they set up a mounted minigun that was taken from a decommisioned warthog fighter jet. Just as the gun was loaded the horde was spotted on the horizon. The battle lasted for 2 hours, where countless zombies were mowed down by the minigun and the special forces. Eventually the minigun and the sepcial forces ran out of ammo and were killed. This event however gave enough time so that most of the civilians could escape on the trains, by the time the horde got there only the few stragglers were there. The few police there either ran or shot at them, within 3 minutes the station was overwhelmed. With the last remaining special forces and police killed, the handfull of survivors that managed to evade the horde now had no hope of rescue. They also have 3 challenges, scavenging food and water from towns, killing or sneaking past zombies, and survivng the harsh climate of the Yukon. Pretty sure I got carried away doing the story, sorry about that =P
