This is the current gm_construct with almost all the removed features ported back from the GMod 13 beta period! In 2012 I was following gm_construct 13 progress, testing, saving links, and at that time I even ended up getting and publishing an unmodified version of the map to preserve history. Unfortunately I never liked that some content was removed and now, 9 years later, I finally decided to get my hands dirty and do something about it! Obviously I needed a little artistic freedom to blend all the pieces together naturally, consistently, since we have many unfinished or unrefined parts mixed with map resizes, but I didn't leave important features out! Each version got carefully looked, and even the doubtful things are back! I also took the liberty of integrating some improvements. You can also disable reflections: mat_specular 0 A last resort: extract the map in addons/gmc13b, unsubscribe and run this: buildcubemaps Low FPS gmc13b has lots of new shapes to render, so even with optimizations it's still heavy. However, the biggest villain is the 3D Skybox, which loves eating FPS. So you can gain FPS by disabling it: r_3dsky 0 Alternative Version Download gm_construct beta 13 v2 if you want a game that we can call "more playable". E.g. I removed the whiteroom door. Remember to disable this version if using V2 because they "conflict" a bit. This addon includes default spawn and loot data for Murder - if you just want to jump in and play, you can! Please note that this map requires Counter-Strike Source (CSS). Features: * Recompiled with HDR lighting. * Removed all CSS entities. No more "Attempted to create unknown entity type" messages. * Removed all CSS func brushes. No more "Can't init func_buyzone" and similar console spam. * Removed the old ladders and replaced them with updated ladders that don't stick. * Replaced placeholder mirrors with working mirrors (First-person works). * Added breakable doors. All normal doors are breakable, not the thick oak doors. * Fixed some ambient sounds. Gong and bell now work. * Phonograph, radio, and turntable function properly and play new music. * Replaced most buttons with ones that work properly, they also lock when the lights are shut off. * Fixed foyer rotating door. So, this is my new map, that i was woking on for couple of months, because i'm too lazy:P Map was inspired by mod "Silent-Hill: Alchemilla" Features: - No HDR because it was causing some problems with color of skybox and fog. - A lot of creepy places. - Highlight effects. - Park. - Added new easter eggs. - Water in the canals. Physics for Effects

About A simple tool for adding the physics to effect props. Do you know the pain when you see a nice prop in the spawn menu, you spawn it and you see the ominous effect ring? Fear no more! With this tool you can make any prop_effect a prop_physics, then weld it, build with it, duplicate it! No, I will not create a "Effect to Ragdoll" tool. Reason is simple: Lua does not provide an interface for creating multiple convex colliders for bones in ragdolls. How to use By default every small effect you spawn automatically becomes a physicized effect (basically a prop_physics). You can disable the auto-physicize by going into the Spawn menu (press Q), on the top bar find "Effect spawning" and toggle the "Physicize effects on spawn". If you want to automatically physicize big effects uncheck the "Don't physicize big props". Sometimes the boundaries are not obvious, for that you can preview them by clicking "Draw physics bounds". You can physicize / dephysicize the effect by clicking "C" and hovering over it in game, then clicking "Physicize (add physics)" (on effects) or "Dephysicize (remove physics)" (on physics effects). Physics effects are just like props, you can ignite them, disable collisions on them etc. Please check out my last addon: Advanced Duplicator Sharing system
