Shattered Soul is a Terraria roguelite. If all players die, the world is permanently deleted. (See failsafe section to prevent!) Important features: The Ritual of Revival (Multi player only). When a player dies, they are gone until you bring them back. You cannot simply respawn. To revive a fallen teammate a living player must do the following: -Obtain vile powder or vicious powder. -Right-click a town NPC while holding the powder. -This will not bring back their items. Soul shards & the soul altar. As you progress, you will obtain Soul Shards. These are the currency of your survival. Craft the Soul Altar to access the upgrade menu. Spend Shards to craft Permanent Stat Upgrades and Active Abilities. -Unwanted upgrades can be refunded at the Altar to recover your Shards. Permanent upgrades. Enhance your character with stackable "Soul" items. Most can be stacked up to 5 times for massive benefits: -Vitality Soul: Permanently increases Max Health. -Swiftness Soul: Boosts movement speed. -Wisdom Soul: Increases Max Mana. -Berserker Soul: Increases Attack Speed and Fire Rate. -Strength Soul: Boosts all damage dealt. -Aegis Soul: Increases defense effectiveness. -Miner's Soul: Increases Mining Speed and Range. -Commander's Soul: Grants extra Minion and Sentry slots. -Merchant's Soul: Provides shop discounts. Active abilities. Unlock powerful active skills bound to a hotkey (Default: F). You can only equip one ability at a time: -Void Blink: Teleport instantly toward your cursor. -Chrono Sphere: Create a time-slowing bubble that debuffs enemies. -Blood Pact: Sacrifice HP for a temporary damage frenzy. -Spirit Echo: Summon a stationary soul that spawns Hearts when shot. -Gravitational Anchor: Tether nearby enemies to a single point. -Phantom Cloak: Enter stealth and become immune to damage. Mastery system. Use the Versatile Soul to upgrade your equipped ability: -Levels 1-4: Improves cooldowns, duration, or range. -Level 5 (Mastery): Unlocks a powerful secondary effect (e.g., Lifesteal, Explosions, or projectile reflection). Special items: -Phoenix Soul: A single-use item that automatically revives you once per life/world reset. -Explorer's Soul: Permanently grants double jump and run speed (Single use). -Soul vessel: Protects your piggy bank and similar items from being wiped on death. To get a soul shard: 1) Defeat a boss for the first time in that life/run 2) Die 3) On starting a new world you should have a shard (one for every unique boss defeated) 4) To view your shard count right click a soul altar WARNING: -This mod contains a Hardcore World Wipe mechanic. Sakoulaphobia is the fear of bags. This simple QoL mod adds more ways of obtaining vanilla bag-like items, and also adds some new ones. Vanilla changes: 1. Gem ores now have a chance to drop geodes. 2. Hostile worms now have a chance to drop Can of Worms. 3. Plantera's tentacles, Angry Dandelions and Man Eaters now have a chance to drop herb bags. 4. A remnant of a time long gone, somehow preserved in this state for billions of years... The Archean Vestige mod adds a new biome, which is inspired by how Earth was during the Precambrian. Inside, you'll find stromatolites, hydrothermal vents, and strangely hostile Ediacaran biota. However, the waters here are very dense, you'll float without something to weigh you down. This something comes in the form of the Brickpack, a new accessory from 20 red bricks and 10 silk, giving you the weight needed. The general area is anoxic too, leaving the water won't give you the air needed to stop yourself from drowning. Some of the most notable things here are: - Biome-specific loot from chests dotted around - Stromatolites that can be placed in an extractinator to get bacterial chunks. - Hydrothermal vents that burn you if you get too close(!) The entire area is wrapped in a shell of banded iron, you'll need at least a Nightmare Pickaxe or bigger to get in.
