ArcheryDraw – Bow Overhaul ArcheryDraw reworks how bows function in Terraria, replacing point-and-click firing with a draw-based mechanic that emphasizes timing, positioning, and commitment. Instead of firing immediately, bows must be drawn by clicking and dragging the mouse. The distance of the draw determines how powerful the shot is when released. This overhaul is designed to give Bow-focused Rangers a distinct identity from gun-based weapons, while introducing new interactions between ranged combat and other class systems. Core Mechanic: Draw Power Each bow has a Draw Power value that controls how strongly it scales with draw distance. -Clicking and dragging draws the bow. -Releasing fires the arrow. -Longer draws increase arrow damage, speed, and knockback. -Very short draws reduce effectiveness. -Draw Power differs per bow, affecting how rewarding a full draw is. Added Features • Weapons: 1 • Accessories: 4 • Ammunition Types: 2 Bow Behavior Adjustments -Bow use time now acts as a cooldown between draws -Multi-shot bows retain their original firing patterns -Special bows preserve or adapt their unique mechanics -Certain bows can be exempted for compatibility Configuration Options -Toggle bow aiming between inverse or direct. -Exempt specific items from the draw overhaul, for cross-mod compatability. The rework does not affect Repeaters.
