Better Reaper Scythe – Necesse Mod

Better Reaper Scythe

par 76561198105679714

Better Reaper Scythe! Makes the Reaper Scythe projectile also function as a farming scythe. Fully grown crops hit by the scythe will automatically be harvested to the inventory, and the seeds produced will be automatically replanted & fertilized. This only works for crops on farmland, crops such as the wild vines around the map can still be harvested by the scythe but will not automatically be transferred to your inventory, nor will they be replanted. Compatability This mod does replace the reaperscythe item with my own custom version that has the farming capabilities, so any mods that alter the reaperscythe or its projectile will likely conflict with this one. If you find any such instances just note it in the discussions and I'll see if a patch can be made. Change Log 0.91 - Made the seeds produced from harvesting also be placed in your inventory automatically rather than being deleted 0.92 - Fixed the occasional crashing bug that occurred while harvesting, and the scythe now properly works on coffee beans, caveglow sprouts, and mushrooms. 0.93 - Fixed bug that caused crashing when harvesting coffee beans, caveglow sprouts, and mushrooms. Updated for new patch

par 76561197988408858

Legacy Textures – Necesse Mod

Legacy Textures

par 76561198009412110

A legacy texture pack made by the Necesse team to make the game look like it did before the graphics overhaul. The texture pack is client-side, meaning you can have the texture pack active while your friends or the server does not. The mod does not have sprites for players or settlers sitting down. Instead, it will look like they are standing on the chair. New hairstyles and eye types are also not added and will look like the old hair styles. The texture pack will not be supported by the team in future updates, since it would require us to draw every new texture twice in both styles. The community is welcome to pick up support though, and for that reason we have made the mod open source on GitHub. If you have any problems, please post in the comments below.

[Deprecated] Verdant Villagers – Necesse Mod

[Deprecated] Verdant Villagers

par 76561197976129439

Now that Rust & Romance has dropped, this is largely pointless. I'll leave it up, but I've not had desire to work on it for a fair while anyway. No further updates will be given. --- A mod that brings love (and more) to Necesse. Currently, this is just a mod I'm making to add in things that I want in Necesse. It's not really meant to have separation of concerns or any of the like, so it's a little hodge podge in its additions. 'Romance' has come to Necesse. Your Settlers have a chance to decide amongst themselves who their partner for life (literally, I've added the ability to get together, but not break up so far, planned is a fully interpersonal system) is. They gain a negative mood if they don't share an abode with them (two single beds or one double bed, doesn't really matter which), and conversely gain a positive mood if they do! Added onto this, is that different Settler types have different furnishing desires now! They have favourite items that, if there is a total absence of, will net them a negative mood. However, having 'all' of them in their room (generally about 3 from a list of upto 20ish items) gets them increasing mood benefits! 33% of their favourite items in their abode negates the negative and then some, 66% negates it more, all of them grants a sizaable chunk! More info towards the bottom of the page. The mission board has been updated! To lower the chance of another mod also modifying the mission board menu and thus our mods fighting, I've added the button to toggle between mission board and quest board to the top right of the menu, next to the close button! The style of the board is very much so placeholder. Currently, once per day (around 8AM), the quest board will refresh with new requests. At this point in time, all the quests net you 300 coins (even if one quest is for 1 iron ore, and the other is for 34 iron ore). This has been written in a way that lets me add new quests to generate quite easily, so by all means hit me up with your suggestions! There are also Personal Requests, currently this is just a villager alerting you to the fact they want to move in with their partner. It SHOULDN'T flag up as a quest if they are already moved in, but if it does, then you can either abandon the quest or just complete it and get more coins. Up to you. This will eventually net timed mood bonuses for Settlers and other item-based rewards. So that you can see if the board has quests, I've also added two quest markers to it. If there is a yellow ! above it, there's a fetch quest. If there's a green !, there's a personal request. I've also added in another set of bookshelves. They're all made from the bookshelf you want to upgrade and a tungsten lantern. This will net you a Lantern Bookshelf. I know. I'm a master of naming. This is just a bookshelf that gives off light and is considered a light source for rooms, so no more pesky lighting issues if you've got a lovely room set out and forgot to put down a candle! This is the first time I'm actually releasing a mod into the wild, so do what you do if you're even reading this at all. Features Added - 'Romance' - Favourite items - Quest board - Add quest markers to the quest board so players can see at a glance if there's new stuff to do Partially added - Additional items, currently planned: expanded bookshelves, marital double bed, tabletop clutter (maps, handicrafts, etc.), future workstations (spinning wheel, clay turntable, etc.) Planned - Favoured build materials - Make favourite items/objects/materials dynamic on a settler-by-settler basis? - Tiered quests and quest blueprints - New equipment items/trinkets that exclusively buff settlers, like by increasing their storage - Settler type additions - Race additions maybe? - Allow settlers or other players to request partner status with player characters - Add Settlement Buffs (buffs that will persist as long as the Settlement hits criteria and run in conjunction to potion and food buffs) - Make the mod modular and allow a settings-based toggling of any features - Full happiness rebalance to support additional systems - Full relationship system Settler Favourite Items Generic Villager/Settler - Any bookshelf, any painting, and any cute decoration Farmers - TODO Blacksmith - Any anvil and a forge Alchemist - Any alchemy table, any alchemy clutter, and a cooking pot Mage - Any bookshelf, any reading clutter, and a void cube Hunters - Any rug (TODO) Gunsmith - A tnt, a firework dispenser, and a large keg Angler - Any sea-based item, a fish on a stick, and a fishian banner Pawnbroker - (Just in case you can recruite them with another mod or I add them in later) Any loot item, any storage item, a gold grid carpet, and a gold chalice Trader - Any coin item (like a coin stack), a merchant's backpack, and a storage box Exotic Merchant - (Just in case you can recruite them with another mod or I add them in later) Any painting, any statue, and a merchant's backpack Explorer - A tent, a merchant's backpack, and a candle Miner - A ladder, an oil lantern, and a tnt Animal Keeper - An egg nest, an apiary, and a roasting station Stylist - Any rug or carpet, any painting, an armor stand, a stool, and a desk Pirate - Any loot item (coin, coin stack, or gold lamp), any pirate banner Guard - An armor stand, a training dummy, and a bar shelf What's a cute decoration? dogplush, dinoplush, flowerpot, decorativepot1, decorativepot2, decorativepot3, decorativepot4, pottedcactus1, pottedcactus2, pottedcactus3, pottedcactus4, pottedflower1, pottedflower2, pottedflower3, pottedflower4, bonsaitree1, or bonsaitree2 What's a reading clutter item? stackofpaper, greenandpinkbooks, redbooks, blueandyellowbooks, yellowbook, greenbook, orangebook, stackedbooks, quillandparchment What's an alchemy clutter item? emptyglassdisplay, brokenglassdisplay, beetglassdisplay, brokenherbglassdisplay, caveglowglassdisplay, experimentalroot, testtubes, voidflaskandtesttube, voidflasks, blueberryandcornextract, caveglowflask What's a sea-based item? glowcoral, seashell, seasnail, seastar What's counts as a statue? mossymonkstatue, angelicstatue, hoodedknightstatue, ravenstatue, ancientpillar, ancientmummystatue, raveneffigy, pigstatue, blacksmithstatue, witchstatue What's a rug? Wool carpet, leather carpet, brownbear carpet What's a carpet? Anything else in the carpet category Changelog v0.1 - Added 'romance' to Necesse. Settlers can randomly partner up. This gives a happiness boost and a desire to share an abode with the other settler. v0.2 - Added favourite items. Settler types have favourite items that give a bonus to happiness when in their abodes, and are negatively impacted when none are present. v0.3 - Added settler requests to the mission board. Settlers can request moving in with their partners or just random fetch quests. Current rewards are just temporary happiness boosts to settlers and coins for the player. v0.3.2 - Added quest markers to the mission board so that it's easier for players to see at a glance if there are requests for them to undertake. v0.3.5 - Fixed a bunch of style issues on the settler request board. Fixed a load of desync issues on the settler request board to do with egregious re-rendering. Updated plain text strings to use lang file so that mod can be translated. v0.3.6 - Fixed a few more things. Eased UX. v0.4.1 - Added in a full set of lantern bookshelves. v0.4.2 - Updated variables in different areas to make more sense and be better

Tombstone On Death – Necesse Mod

Tombstone On Death

par 76561197983999638

Tombstone on Death This mod replaces normal item drops on death with a tombstone that stores your items at the place you died. What happens when I die? - A tombstone spawns at (or near) your death location - Items that would normally drop on the ground are moved into the tombstone instead - Respects the server/world death-penalty setting, including “drop mats” conversions Tombstone features - Named container (e.g. "James's Tombstone") so it’s easy to recognise - Owner locked: only the player who died can open their tombstone - Other players can’t open it and will get a message if they try - Protected from destruction while it contains items (tools/explosions won’t break it) Cleanup - Once the tombstone is completely emptied, it removes itself - If a tombstone ends up empty, interacting with it will remove it instead of leaving clutter In short: instead of your loot scattering across the floor, it’s kept in one safe place until you come back and collect it.

Settler Leader Buffs Share – Necesse Mod

Settler Leader Buffs Share

par 76561198224135268

A patch mod for Necesse that shares the player's Tinker slot buffs with NPCs. Features: - Dynamically replicates and shares passive trinket slot modifiers from the leader to their settlers/NPCs. - Full network synchronization support: other connected players on the server will correctly see all active buff icons and stats in real-time. - Now fully supports the Tome of Power mod: correctly synchronizes all inner enchantment scrolls, stats, and configurations across the server and clients without any security or cheat-trigger bugs. - Built-in compatibility with Galva mod attribute values. v1.0.2 - Summoner Compatibility & Fixes: Minion for NPCs (Aphorea Support): Fixed summoning trinkets from the Aphorea mod. Thanks to the built-in companion manager (serverFollowersManager) inside settlers, your NPCs can now automatically spawn their own purple slimes from your equipped trinkets and use them in combat. Universal Summon Teleport (Lag Fix): Added a general fix for custom minions getting stuck when using a Return Bottle / Recall Pouch on the same surface level (mainly noticed in RPG Mod v1.2.0). Note: This fix is completely unrelated to my core mod, I just added it purely for myself on a whim to stop server lags. Trailing minions now instantly teleport to the player before chunks unload, keeping the game perfectly smooth.
