A radar mod that was initially designed for adding support to admins on safe base rule set servers to assist in identifying players who enter safe bases. However it can be used on other server types and used how they see fit. About the mod: This mod adds 2 stationary radar structures to learn They run off gas at the rate of 1 gas per hour They can hold a stack of 100 gas They cost 50 wood/stone/hide/metal They are crafted by hand They can be picked up once placed They are indestructible They decay at the same rate as stone structures Their radius reaches about 7 foundations in all 8 directions horizontally and reaches roughly 5 walls in height upward and 1 downward Tribe mates can go up to them once they has gas and press E to access a GUI log The GUI log tracks when any player not in your tribe enters and exits the radius Only tribe mates can access their GUI log The GUI log will reset when the server restarts or when the radar's are picked up When a player not in your tribe enters the radar's detection range everyone in your tribe will hear a beep noise for the noisy radar When a player not in your tribe enters the radar's detection range everyone in your tribe will not hear a beep noise for the silent radar When a player not in your tribe exits either radar's detection range no beep noise is played When a player not in your tribe enters or exits the radar's detection range everyone in your tribe will see a notification in the top middle of your screen in red text with the name and tribe of the player entering and exiting the radar You can rename each placed radar a unique name and it will display the specific radars name on the notification NOTES: This mod is a modified version of kilrath81's radar mod using his source files. This version is more powerful than XTS Rifle Mod. The damage is 80 melee, 300 per bullet hit. (Spitters=1-2 hits) 5 Fiber to create, Fiber needed to repair. Available at level 1, Easy to find in Engrams, or you can search for XTS or rifle on your engrams page to be sure it's there. No attachments yet. I'm all ears if you know how to do that. Luckily the request for a more powerful weapon was easy enough to do. Rate up if you like & I hope it's as much fun for you as it is for me. It's become a regular habit, checking on my gun and using it to gather oil from trilobites. (Because they often go in the water and up steep cliffs with me. lol I got tired of chasing them down.) Works great for Single Player. For playing with others, you may need a dedicated server. This mod no longer works properly in multiplayer due to VAC changes to the game unless you are running a dedicated server. You may need to create a cheat file as well. This issue exists for all mods that affect gameplay, giving you an advantage. For example: All weapon mods. MOD ID:3775282305 Important Info: Unfortunatley this mod is NOT compatible with the ASE preaquatica branch I have been unable to get my hands on the preaquatica Dev Kit because it was never posted in any official capacity. That being said most other mods do work on the main public branch of ASE so this mod is useable with other mods like Ark Additions, Paleo Ark, etc. I will try my best to get this mod on the preaquatica branch for everyone to play. Mod Info: Variants have a 70% chance of spawning in place of the normal versions. Some unique ones and some Apex variants have seperate spawns entirely. The mod is somewhat compatible with other variant mods like Paleo Ark as it only overtakes 60% and mine takes 70% so if you were to use both mods you would put Paleo above mine in the load order although it does give the creatures that overlap from my mod a 10% chance to spawn I think. Future plans: An ASA port could potentially come but I would like to focus on the ASE version untill it's in a state that I want it to be and there are other mods I would rather port first. Multiple creatures and plans were held back from the initial release because they were not ready, I felt that this was a good starting roster. Mod compatibilty with this mod and my other mods is planned.
