Was tired of doing dino resets regularly and wanted something more automated for my servers. I saw another mod out there similar, but it did a standard dino wipe which wiped out all the wild dinos, even the ones being tamed, which I didn\'t like. What does this mod do exactly? - at exactly 10AM UTC (which is 6AM EST) it will scan all dinos and progressively wipe them off the server. - it only looks at wild dinos. - it doesn\'t remove bosses. - it doesn\'t remove tamed dinos. - it doesn\'t remove dinos in process of taming (that\'s right, knocked out and passive tames are safe) - it doesn\'t remove dino corpses (unlike the server wipe command) - it provides a countdown timer as a buff for all plays to see, so they can see exactly how long till the dino clearing will happen. - it doesn\'t (shouldn\'t) cause any play drops,etc due to the segmented regional progressive dino clearing process. May still experiance a little lag during the clearing, however shouldn\'t drop anyone like what happens sometimes when doing a dino-wipe via commands. currently it\'s set to a per day process, and that\'s not changable via INI, etc. I created this for my server, and that\'s how I wanted it. I may consider adding that option if people show interest, but i figured why bother if I don\'t know what people want :) hope it helps someone else out there.

Changed meat spoiling bin to use spark powder instead of essence. 18 June 2022 - Fixed hunting rifle cost. Added new level of healing, nacro, stim, and hunger soup. Buffed healing items and stims. Renamed some items for clarity. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This mod was created with small server/single player play in mind. Its point is to smooth out the taming process with better arrows and darts without being overpowered. I found while playing solo or in small groups, it would take 20, 30, or 50 plus tranq arrows to down a dino while darts were just horrible for their cost. Furthermore, I wanted to incorporate lesser used items, such as Elemental Dust. Hence, Elemental Essence was born! -Elemental Essence is used for mostly all crafting recipes, 1 Crystal, 1 Element Dust, and 1 Sparkpowder gives 3 Elemental Essence. -In this mod there are 4 new arrows, each streamlined to keep taming land and water dinos efficent. -4 new darts, which is a more desirable transition from being stuck on arrows for the whole game. All tranq darts still work with base longneck rifle. -A new longneck rifle "hunting rifle" which has a built in scope that can use tranq darts. -A new taming soup that makes dinos hungry for faster taming. Kibble still has a use! -New stims, narcs, dino healing items, meat spoiler... - Also, two new armor sets to bridge the gap between hide and chitin, and flak and riot. They provide increased hypo and hyperthermic resistance without being overpowered. Fur still has a use, ect. -You can turn tek eggs into elemental essence. -A new forge that burns Elemental Essence to smelt 5x as fast. DISCLAIMER This mod is still in early stages. features listed below should be working, but expect some bugs and frequent patch updates and new features added. I can't be held acountable for any huge amount of items you may or may not recieve due to incorrect setup of this mod! :) REASON FOR THIS MOD This mod was originally created to work with currency based mods to allow my kids to gain currency from other currency mods based on dinos killed and actions completed, etc. Some of the currently based mods allready have a method of delivering coins, but honestly i didn't like those as there were flaws. Such as the coins geting placed into a bag and not given to the player directly, or the arguments of how much coins each person should get after coming back from a hunt. Please see the Features list for more details. FEATURES - ability to specify any item from the game or from any other mod to be delivered to the player. - automaticly splits items to multiple players. - acts similar to MMOs boss fights, where any players that attack the dino within the last 5 mins will get a split of the loot. Loot specificed is split evenly. takes into account passangers and players around the main one fighting, so that harvesting parties running with protection, the harvesters will get there share as well. - if the dino full heals, the players determined for loot will be reset, so keep on attacking. - works based on any dinos in range of the player. What this means is detectional is pretty much realtime for anything within visual range. - applies to only dinos that are specified in the GUI - higher level dinos get a higher chance of droping the specific items, and they have a scaled amount they will drop. for example, if you set the lowest amount to 1 and highest to 50. only the higher lvl dinos will ever drop the highest amount, all others will drop lower amounts. - ability to set a percent offset. for example, if you set this to 20, it will cause 20% of the max level dino to not recieve any chance of geting anything and the higher lvl dinos will have a 20% reduced change of geting anything. FUTURE PLANS - ability to specify other values to detect dinos such as name, etc) - spitballing ideas of maybe adding bonus items provided when threshholds are met, for example. killing X number of specific dinos without dieing, etc. HOW TO USE THIS - after installing this mod, it has to be setup. currently nothing is within the ini and it's all GUI driven. I'll try to keep it that way. - server admin has to hold down there orbit camera key (default is K) for 3 seconds till they see the message on top to release it. - the Gui interface will display which has to be filled out. make sure to fill in all the info, starting with max dino level on top. all the other info has examples if you hover over them. KNOWN BUGS - the only known bug at this time is to NOT add the easy, medium, and hard versions of bosses to the class listing. it will crash the client, but not the server. not sure the cause at this time, but looking into it. tested it with all other dinos on all DLCs, and mutliple Dino mods and it's working. Only Bosses are effected and not recomended to apply on any bosses.
