Mod #2424064313 The Great Hunt v1.1 The Great Hunt was created to add some additional end-game content for single-tribe PVE servers. It adds 4 variants to hunt for each species (Alpha, Gamma, Zeta, Omega), providing a progression system that gradually increases the wild spawn level as each species is collected (tracked server-wide). Details The Hunt Repository (level 10 engram) provides a list of all the species on the map and tracks which variants have been collected. Collecting a species variant will cause the next tier to unlock and spawn in the wild. Variants also drop items and blueprints appropriate to your level, with quality multipliers that are determined by the level, tier, and size of the variant. (including the possibility of tek items for tek engrams you have unlocked) Additionally, collected vials will turn into crystals that can be spent to influence the wild population of a species (for example you can temporarily overpopulate or exterminate a species). OR feed the crystal to a tame to permanently grant an \'aspect\' of one of the four variants. Setup This mod can be put anywhere in the mod load order. I\'ve tested with Structures Plus and Kraken\'s Better Dinos, and I expect it to be compatible with most other mods. The list of possible item drops and dino spawns are dynamically created at each startup, so changes/additions by other mods should be automatically included. Dinos added by other mods should be included as long as they are spawning using normal spawners. The dynamic difficulty level starts at the server setting as a baseline, so I recommend you start it low because it can get quite high. (+1 level per variant per species can add up quickly on a map with 140 species) I suggest starting wild creatures at level 30 by adding these in the game.ini: DifficultyOffset=1.0 OverrideOfficialDifficulty=1.0 To clear the progress on the mod delete the save data in the ShooterGame/Saved/SaveGames/ark_repository I recommend doing this when switching maps. When playing single player launch the game with the steam launch option: -preventhibernation Mod Settings Copy/paste these lines into the Game.ini to configure the mod (this is optional, defaults are as listed): DropBlueprintsOnly=False # variants only drop item blueprints NoItemDrops=False # disables item drops from variants AspectAlphaPointsPerSample=2 # override aspect buff strength per species collected (0 to disable) AspectGammaPointsPerSample=2 # override aspect buff strength per species collected (0 to disable) AspectZetaPointsPerSample=4 # override aspect buff strength per species collected (0 to disable) AspectOmegaPointsPerSample=5 # override aspect buff strength per species collected (0 to disable) Known Bugs - Performing a DestroyWildDinos command will cause a crash. This can be avoided by wiping dinos during server restart only.- Vanilla Alphas will continue to spawn at normal rates (modded alphas will only spawn once, until that species has been collected) - Occasionally a killed variant will not drop any loot - Some Omegas are so big that they have glitchy movement and can end up walking into the sky

(25 max at once, 1 per minute) - Large marine predators - the Tuso, Mosa, and Plesio - will no longer be targeted by anything smaller than a Plesiosaur. - Medium marine predators - Dunkleos, Basis, and Megalodons - will no longer be targeted by anything smaller than a Megalodon. - The mosa and plesio now tilt in the water rather than staying completely static. - Increased Mosasurus turn rate by 50%. - Increased Plesiosaur turn rate by 200%. - Allowed Plesiosaurs to swim backwards. - A new item, Aquatic Repellant, can be crafted and used to repel creatures the size of a Manta or smaller when in the ocean to a degree. (Immune to Cnidaria, Leech, and Lamprey aggro; lowered other ranges to 100 (effectively touching)). -- Crafted with 6 Bio Toxin, 4 Raw Fish Meat, 4 Angler Gel, and 2 Stimulant. Learned at lv 48. - Added a 5% spawn chance for a Tek Mosasaur. - Added a 5% spawn chance for a Tek Giganotosaurus. -Amarberries, Tintoberries, and Azulberries now heal herbivores by 5hp when consumed. (Same as raw meat) -Mejoberries now heal herbivores by 10hp when consumed. -Raw Prime Meat now heals carnivores by 10hp when consumed. -Raw Mutton now heals carnivores by 25hp when consumed. -Otters should now be able to actually eat Raw Meat. -New Item: Re-Imprinting Potion. Changes the imprint of a dino to whoever last held the item. Will not work on wild dinos or dinos already imprinted to you. Costs 4 Rare Flowers, 4 Rare Mushrooms, and 2 Giant Bee Honey. Unlocked at lv. 25. - Added a functionality in which all flyers (except griffons, tropeos, and owls) will go into a swimming state when hitting the water and can fly back out. - Astrocetus now passively generate ambergris and reduce its weight to 10%. - Wyverns have a tighter turning radius. - You can now craft Element < - > Element Shards in your inventory.
