Pak Utility Mod on Your Satisfactory Server

Pak Utility Mod brings admin and creative commands into the in-game chat without requiring a custom SML build — which is exactly why mircearoata started the mod as a re-implementation of Brabb3l's older UtilityMod. Every command starts with ! and is typed into the chat (Enter), not the console, so it never collides with SML commands. Available commands include !creative (no build cost), !creativepower (no power requirement), !fly with configurable flight speed, !give for items, !god, !heal, !noclip, !killall for creatures in range, and !clearfow/!setfow for the fog of war on the map. !help lists everything across seven pages. The mod is explicitly multiplayer compatible, is published under GPL-3.0 on GitHub, and counts more than 570,000 downloads.

Tip: Keep flight speed below 60 m/s — above that, the game can freeze while streaming the map; this is a documented limitation, not a server fault.

Running it on a shared server

Like any other mod it has to be installed under FactoryGame/Mods on the dedicated server and by every player in the same version; the current release requires SML from the 3.12 line. The decisive point is that there is no permission system: anyone who has the mod installed and plays on the server can use !creative or !give. For a creative or building server where everyone should have the same freedoms that is ideal. On a survival server with honest progression, the mod belongs only temporarily — for a maintenance window, say, in which an admin uses !fly and !noclip to free a stuck vehicle or inspect a factory.

Keep in mind that commands like !creative do not permanently change game state, whereas !give and killed creatures do end up in the save. Back up the save before using the mod for clean-up work. Teleporting does not rotate the character to face the target — a known item from the issue list, not a configuration error. After removing the mod, items and structures remain, because they are regular game objects; only the commands become unavailable. If you want finer control, combine the mod with agreements within your group rather than hoping for technical restrictions the mod does not offer.
