Boss Checklist on Your Terraria Server
Boss Checklist gives your whole group a running overview of which bosses in your current mod list are still undefeated, complete with spawn conditions, loot tables, and an extended Boss Log tracking fight duration and hits taken. On a shared tModLoader server this is a real help for coordinating progress when players are at different stages — everyone can see what's next at a glance. The mod needs to be enabled server-side in enabled.json, and every client must run the same version so boss entries registered by other mods (like Calamity or Thorium) show up correctly. Added server load is minimal.
Tip: Already running content mods like Calamity on your server? Boss Checklist automatically picks up their bosses and lists them in the shared log.
Plan the rollout and operation
Boss Checklist should reflect the progression actually installed. Open the log in both a new and advanced world and inspect entries from each content mod. Also verify that defeated bosses remain marked after restart and reconnect. If the group prefers spoiler-free play, reduce visible information or keep the mod optional. When entries differ, check content-mod loading and registration order first.
Before enabling it, back up the world, characters, enabled.json, and mod configuration directory, and record the tModLoader, mod, and dependency versions. Start a world copy with the full list and connect at least two matching clients. Check the core feature, saving, restarting, reconnecting, and, for content mods, world generation or progression. Agree on server-wide settings and reload them after changes in ModConfigs. Update related libraries and content mods together, while adding independent packages one at a time. Before removal, store or discard mod-owned items, NPCs, tiles, and storage structures on a copy; missing content can otherwise damage a world or character. Move to a live maintenance window only after that copy loads without errors. Keep the previous package as a rollback until several sessions have completed successfully. Publish the active list for every player so clients and server do not start with different tModLoader profiles or stale dependencies.
