Brita's Armor Pack
Brita's Armor Pack is the clothing and armor counterpart to Brita's Weapon Pack, adding a large wardrobe of gear with adjusted weight, insulation, and spawn rates (including on zombies). As with the weapon pack, Build 42 disabled several underlying workaround mechanics, and the author is fixing it without a firm timeline — Build 41 servers still run it reliably. Worth knowing: the mod is also listed as a requirement for separate night-vision mods that build on its clothing slots, so check load order first if you see conflicts. Add Workshop ID 2460154811 and Mod ID Brita_2 alongside the weapon pack to WorkshopItems=/Mods=; clients download all textures automatically on join.
Tip: Outfits using masks from other clothing mods can render incorrectly — that's a known upstream quirk, not a server-side issue.
Plan the rollout and operation
Brita's Armor Pack changes loot, clothing slots, and zombie equipment. Balance spawn rates against other clothing and armour, then test several body types, damaged states, and a restart. If night-vision or weapon packages depend on it, document the order together. Before changing branch or removing it, inspect characters, zombies, and storage on a world copy so saved clothing does not disappear unexpectedly.
Before changes, back up the save, sandbox configuration, and server INI, and record the Workshop ID, mod ID, game branch, and order. Both lists must contain the same projects in dependency order; a Workshop download alone does not enable the mod. Start a world copy, connect at least two clients, and test the core feature, persistence, death or reconnecting, and a full restart. Review console.txt and the server log for missing files or Lua errors. After Workshop updates, update dependencies together and retain the last working combination. Before removal, clean up additional items, vehicles, clothing, or slots on a copy. When moving between Build 41 and 42, verify every mod individually; a similar name is not proof of compatibility. This protects the live save from incomplete downloads and branch conflicts.
