True Actions. Act 1 & 2 - Sitting & Lying [Only for B41]

This mod adds two long-missing base animations: sitting on chairs, armchairs and sofas (160+ objects) and lying on beds and couches (200+ objects). While sitting, all normal activities — reading, eating, drinking — remain available with proper animations. One engine limitation persists: sitting only works on objects facing south or east, and some north- or west-facing beds don't support lying at all. The key detail for multiplayer hosting: the mod only functions with AntiCheatProtectionType12=false set in your server config — without it, the feature silently does nothing for clients. As the title states, this is Build 41 only; add Workshop ID 2487022075 and Mod ID TMC_TrueActions to your WorkshopItems=/Mods= lines.

Tip: Don't skip AntiCheatProtectionType12=false — it's the most common reason sitting fails to work in multiplayer.

Plan the rollout and operation

True Actions requires both mod IDs and a deliberate anti-cheat configuration change. Document that exception and decide whether it fits your security policy. Test sitting, lying, eating, and reading with two players on furniture facing different directions. Explain the known orientation limitation so support requests are not treated as server failures. Reassess both the setting and the mod before any Build 42 move.

Before changes, back up the save, sandbox configuration, and server INI, and record the Workshop ID, mod ID, game branch, and order. Both lists must contain the same projects in dependency order; a Workshop download alone does not enable the mod. Start a world copy, connect at least two clients, and test the core feature, persistence, death or reconnecting, and a full restart. Review console.txt and the server log for missing files or Lua errors. After Workshop updates, update dependencies together and retain the last working combination. Before removal, clean up additional items, vehicles, clothing, or slots on a copy. When moving between Build 41 and 42, verify every mod individually; a similar name is not proof of compatibility. This protects the live save from incomplete downloads and branch conflicts.
