I did my best to reproduce the battle for TF2, from the attacks to the minigames. Do you have what it takes to take to defeat Omega Flowey? (Also known as Photoshop Flowey) The mercenaries are fighting over "ACT" buttons while trying to defeat the boss. Which side will free the most souls? RED or BLU? The winner decides Flowey's fate. Originally started over a year ago as an attempt to learn new skills, this quick artpass of the facade housing capture point B of cp_gorge quickly turned into a complete re-imagining of the setting in a super spooky halloween theme. Now with the 2015 Scream Fortress event accepting community maps I figure I'd give it a shot posting this here. *UPDATE* Valve added color correction back! cp_overgrown is a 2cp map a new custom overgrown South American jungle villa resort theme, created originally for the TF2Maps.net 2015 Summer 72hr Mapping Contest, and later updated in collaboration with Pear, for your consideration in the summer 2023 update! The map features a train mechanic, where, after capturing first point, attackers can ride the train into a flank route deep in enemy territory. Matador stabs can be practiced at the corners too, by not waiting until the bot has fully turned. The bot only needs to turn 30 degrees to allow a facestab. This holds true in real matador stabs as well. Note on matador stabs: There are 2 types of matador stabs, the regular formand the strafe and snap. In the regular form just do whatever they teach you and get a side stab. The next two forms involve tricking the server into thinking your enemy will continue to turn on the server side. The strafe-and-snap is where you run towards the enemy head on, release W and press strafe when in melee range, and flicking your mouse towards where they are facing. No leading the target first. Face your worst fear -- 9 w+m1 pyros chasing you down a narrow corridor, where your only choice is to kill them or be killed. Fortunately, with the help of the supernatural, their flamethrowers have their gas supply removed. Changes: Fixed bug where bots will not respawn as the right class when the target boards are shot. Pl_borneo is set in secret facilites in the misty jungles of Borneo. The map is a single stage payload map with 4 areas of battle. Many custom textures and models had to be created for the jungle theme. It was really tedious work making all the foliage, but hopefully it was worth it. The map has been balanced for competitive highlander play, and was played for 2 UGC seasons. I'd like to thank Matt "vhalin" Leahy for helping to balance the map for competitive play. Main picture made by Yhrite! This map is designed for Mannpower, It has a theme set in hell, where lava is a big obstacle. Use the the grappling hook on the spiky overhang of rocks, set all across the map, or choose to use spells, for damage, instead of mobility (but not both!) Capturing a flag activates the wheel of doom, causing a random effect! Halloween mode is enabled by default and are also pumpkin bombs, and other hazards around the map.
