Horncrest Wyvern

Dark colored wyverns, notable for their prominent horned crests and their fume-breath. Unlike other wyverns, Horncrests prefer to live alone and can therefore be found outside the wyvern trenches of Scorched Earth. They are also much more mild tempered, being neutral to players and tames alike, unless approached too closely. Horncrest Wyverns are tamed by crafting a special food item consisting of Prime Meat and Charcoal. Place the food item into the last place of your hotbar, keep your distance from the Wyvern, then use it to throw the food to the ground. If the wyvern is close enough, it will approach the food item and play its feeding animation three times.
