Allows you to put skins on tek gear. I always thought it was a shame that after you put all the effort into collecting things and killing bosses, you got a bunch of skins and then were unable to use those things with our strongest gear. It was lame, so I changed it. This will only work on skins gotten after the mod was installed, so you\\\'ll have to respawn with new skins to use them on tek gear. This is accomplished by changing all the armor, sword, and shield skins to allow them to be put onto tek armor, swords, and shields. This means that it will not work with skins that came from other mods. Now with support for skinning gliders! Gliders are skins themselves, so putting a skin on them is different than putting a skin on a normal item, as such, to skin a glider, you unlock the glider with the skin you want (0 engram point cost, right next to the normal glider.) All skinned gliders are crafted with a glider and the skin you want. Because of the way this is, the skin will lose any dyes applied and can not be pulled back off. Note: I'm no longer working on this mod and won't be updating it in future. The files were lost to force majeure and I'm no longer interested in ARK myself. Also note: A lot of the graphical elements of the arena (depicted in the images) were removed in final release after the modding competition. The elements (like mushrooms, grass, particle effects) were causing performance issues for people without high-end machines. Blame the developers of the game for their poor optimisation! This arena is considerably larger than that made available in other mods, and it's also flat. The four corners each have their own colour assigned, noted by the colour of the floating sprites. Its location is above the larger portion of the south ocean on TheIsland, at approximately 85, 35. I recommend setting your view distance to high or epic. Don't forget to rate the mod if you like it! NOTICE: This mod will probably no longer be updatded. Everything still works, but there is a new version of this mod here. There should be no conflicts with running both mods at the same time. The cage structures are separate objects from the caveman structures with different names, durability, engrams... The reason I released it as a new mod instead of an update are some core changes in the structure placement for better compability. Thanks for all the feedback I got here, it helped a lot to improve the mod. Adds new cage building components to build a more primitive base. Content: -Cage Foundation -Cage Walls -Cage Ceiling -Cage Door -Cage Ramp -Cage Railing -Cage Palisade (two times the height of a wall) -Cage Ramp -Cage Windows (Window 1 looks better in Windowframe 1, Window 2 in Windowframe 2 or any other frame) -Cage Gate (the small one, a stego fits through) -Cage Pillar (I experienced the cage pillar to hang in the air if its build from a ceiling down. put a stone one at the bottom to avoid this ugliness) -Portable Taming Cage (a wall that can be build directly on the ground without foundation and can be picked up, weights 2 instead of 4) Requirements: Every caveman should learn how to build a cage right after he figured out how to make a fire. So the cage building skills are learned from level 5 to 15. Crafting Costs and Placement: The components are crafted in the inventory out of wood, thatch and fiber (the gate and pillar also need stone and hide) and have the same durability like stone structures. Works great with the vanilla structures, everything snaps together. The new components do not use a placement collision check, that means you can build the structures through other stuff. Notice: There are reports about performance loss (fps drops) while building big bases out of cage structures. One way to avoid or at least reduce this is to combine the cage with wood/ stone/ adobe structures. Another way is to turn down the graphics (the shadows may cause big perfomance issues). I am not sure if that is fixable in the future, the nice looking details of the structures have their price... If it can be used it will say so in green text. If it cannot, it will say 'cannot use' in red and have some reason as to why. After using the Dino Mindwipe Tonic your dino will have a 5m buff that will keep its health and food maxed while you redo their levels. The buff will be removed on the first of the following happening: - Dino takes any damage from an enemy - You finish applying all available level-ups - The 5m timer expires A cooldown will also apply for dinos that have used the mindwipe. It is configurable via INI- default is 2 hours.
