Zombies can hear you through Project Zomboid's in-game voice chat. Louder speech carries farther. Radios can also attract zombies when another player speaks on the same frequency. Portable, placed, dropped and vehicle radios are supported. Turning down the radio reduces the noise. Headphones silence the portable radio's speaker, but your own voice still makes noise. Use push-to-talk for the closest match to what other players hear. Voice activation uses a microphone volume threshold and can react to background noise that the game's voice chat filters out. For Build 42.20 multiplayer. Install on the server and every player's client, with in-game voice chat enabled. Discord and Steam calls do not affect zombies. The mod reads the game's microphone volume meter; it does not record or store audio. Version 1.0.1 fixes voice detection and radio bugs. Convert the classic Antique Stove into a fully functional Steam Generator, designed to feel natural within the world of Project Zomboid. This mod replaces the direct dependence on the standard generator with a more primitive, survival-friendly power solution that consumes fuel and water to generate electricity. 🔥 What Does This Mod Do? - The Antique Stove becomes the visible generator body. - A vanilla generator is managed invisibly in the background. - Requires wood (fuel) + water to operate. - If one of those is not present or runs out, YOU CAN'T operate the generator, so keep an eye on them. - V.2.4+: Multi-gen: You can have more than one within an specific radius. Parkour Profession - Parkourist Update Restores and expands the original Parkour Profession into a fuller Parkourist movement kit. Compared to the first version, this update moves the profession beyond simple starting bonuses and turns Fitness, Nimble, and Sprinting into actual parkour progression. To Use: Right Click > Leap Over (Counters, Etc) Right Click > Scale (Climb Floors) Starting bonuses: - Fitness +3 - Nimble +2 - Sprinting +1 New and expanded movement: - Parkour Vault: faster vaulting over low fences and hoppable obstacles - Parkour Leap Over: testing feature for clearing an adjacent blocked tile, such as furniture, counters, crates, or other low/solid obstacles. It looks for a safe square on the far side and uses the current climb/fence animation as a stand-in while the jump feel is tuned. - Parkour Scale Wall: higher-level tall-wall climbing - Parkour Scale Up: high-level one-floor vertical climbing. Do note, shoes do naturally take damage from stomping in vanilla. This is considered a nerf for a reason! Trench Foot - Stomp Properties Makes stomping zombies degrade shoes/socks based on the footwear stats, and your Maintenance/Tailoring Skill. Also adds a chance to get foot pain from stomping without socks, and/or with broken shoes. Socks are less likely to be damaged when wearing good condition shoes. Gives an overhead notification when shoes/socks break Adds a clothes ripping sound when shoes/socks break. Trench Foot - Discomfort Adds 0.1 discomfort to boots, nothing else.
