Valley Station, KY This is cell 44, 19 in Valley Station. It is west of the mall & adds additional retail and residential areas to explore. I have tried to keep it vanilla friendly with respect to zombie population density while offering new base opportunities for your mall shopping convenience. These contemporary style houses wouldn't have been possible without the roof tiles provided by "Melos Tiles for Miles Tilepack" and "ExtraNoise's Newburbs Tiles". Imagine that you're in my shoes for a moment. You're a RP Server Owner looking for a way for players to have a way to be one with their natural born birthday suit, but each and every time you look up a solution on the Steam Workshop it's nothing but T & A in excruciating detail. That was me for the longest time until I finally got fed up and worked together with a like minded colleague of mine to come up with a solution that did exactly what we've been looking for this entire time. A way to be one with mother nature, without the fear of your own mother walking in on you with severe disapproval. Not everyone wants to deal with the limitations that the Vanilla skin textures bring when it comes to Roleplay, so offering a choice that isn't an extreme full frontal assault on the senses seemed like the next logical step to take. A tasteful retexture that takes inspiration from the featureless models of Ken and Barbie dolls, (save for a part of the body that rhymes with the city of Naples) our mod seeks to be the middle road between more revealing than Vanilla but more tame than the competition. If this seems like an appealing offer to you then this is the choice for you! --- Save for the previously mentioned parts of the body that rhyme with the city of Naples, our mod features retextures for both sexes, every race AND with/without body hair! --- Compatibility: This is my first ever workshop submission, but seeing as it's a simple retexture I imagine that it'd only conflict with any mod that also retextures the body. Persistent Map Exploration Persists per-character map exploration across dedicated-server restarts. Two data layers, both stored in per-character ModData and replayed on login: - Walked path: samples your position once per second, snaps to a 10-tile grid, and re-reveals a small radius around each visited tile. - Map-item regions: every paper map you open (Riverside Map, Westpoint Map, March Ridge Map, etc.) has its bounds captured and re-revealed at full chunk size. Walked AND map-revealed sections both stay visible across reconnects. Build 42.20+ Since Build 42.20 the game keeps a per-player visited map on the server and streams it to you on login. That packet replaces your client's map when it arrives, so v3 replays the stored exploration several times after login (about 5 s, 30 s and 90 s) and once more when you first open the world map - whatever the timing, the map you look at is complete. The vanilla store covers most walked exploration on its own now; this mod still keeps what you explored before your server updated to 42.20, survives crash-without-save restarts, and restores paper-map regions per character. Client-side only - no server companion mod required. Safe in SP (redundant) and MP. Press F6 in-game for a console dump of stored points + regions.

HORDE OPTIMIZER — BUILD 42.20+ Keep the horde. Save your FPS. *does not require manual installation* Horde Optimizer is a performance-focused mod for very large zombie hordes. It reduces CPU load by gradually virtualizing distant, non-visible zombies while keeping their presence in the game's virtual population system. HOW IT WORKS - Monitors the number of real zombies currently loaded around the player. - Only activates when the real-zombie load is high. - Only considers zombies 60+ tiles away, on the same Z level, outside the rendered scene, with no active target or thump target, not on the floor, and not eating a body. - Processes a maximum of 3 zombies per batch and scans at most 180 zombies per cycle. - Uses adaptive intervals: heavier hordes are optimized more often; lighter hordes are touched less often. - There is NO lifetime 500-zombie cap and NO per-city quota. PERFORMANCE TESTING Developed and stress-tested on Project Zomboid 42.20.2 with an Intel i5-4590S, 16 GB RAM and GTX 750. In our test setup, extreme horde situations that previously dropped to roughly 15 FPS were generally around 24-26 FPS after optimization. We also stress-tested with more than 1,800 real zombies loaded and after spawning an additional 2,000 zombies in a populated city. Performance will vary by CPU, sandbox settings, map area and mod list. IMPORTANT / BETA NOTES - Single-player has been tested extensively. - Multiplayer has NOT been validated yet. Use in MP only for testing and report your results. - The mod does not change your Sandbox population multiplier, respawn settings or attraction settings. - The mod does not deliberately virtualize nearby, visible or actively engaged zombies. - Area unload/reload was tested: virtualized population returned when the area was revisited. - Exact individual zombie identity is not guaranteed after virtualization/rematerialization. Outfit, health or state may be regenerated because the virtual-zombie API is position/population based rather than an exact per-zombie snapshot. - Mods that directly replace or heavily modify zombie-population management may conflict.
