A nose like your mother-in-law sniffing out gossip: - Zombies can smell you, corpses, and even a dead rat from across town. Wind, temperature, distance—everything’s against you. Hoarding deliciously large amounts of precious metals like a dragon has been one of the more niche aspects I was looking forward to very much in build 42. So here we are, you can now do that! Collect jewelry from zombies and houses and scrap them using pliers (vanilla feature) Melt those scraps into sheets (vanilla feature) 4 sheets of gold or silver make 1 small ingot (mod) 8 small ingots make 1 big bar (mod) You use any of the forges to make the bars. This is a Build 41 mod. For Build 42: The item weights are in my Quality of Life and Miscellaneous Tweaks mod. Miscellaneous spawn rates are adapted for Build 42 in my Realistic Distributions: Alcohol, Cigarettes, Clutter mod. Three optional mods: 1. Rebalances the weights of many miscellaneous and 'material' items to enhance the player immersion and experience. 2. Added probability of spawns for realistically common items including but not limited to: cutlery, dishes, clothing such as socks, underwear, t-shirts, common useful items like cigarettes, candles, jars and their lids, nails, household items such as soap, toilet paper, and so on... Going through the entire ProceduralDistributions file (determines item spawns for containers) by hand, spawns were only added where it makes sense to expect certain items. Does not conflict with any other mods, and is affected by your custom game spawn rates. For example, as cutlery items are "melee weapons" they are affected by that setting. 3. Adds a few miscellaneous recipes that I felt were missing: for now I have added the ability to craft a sack/sandbag from sheets and thread or twine - this is possible with a needle or a paperclip, and requires level 1 tailoring. You can also craft sheets from 6 ripped sheets, same as Common Sense, however this mod overrides the recipe and it now requires you to have the thread/twine, and needle/paperclip. Both recipes yield some tailoring experience and so this is a useful way to train your skills if you are not barricading your house or making sandbags for any other reason. Permissions: Please do not mod-pack or reupload this mod anywhere else, just share the link to this page. I hope you enjoy this mod. Special Zombies #03 — Tank Adds the Tank special zombie for Project Zomboid Build 42.20.2. The Tank is a large, heavily mutated zombie wearing a unique dark-green boiler suit. It has extremely high health but moves more slowly than an ordinary zombie. Weapon Resistance The Tank is highly resistant to blunt weapons. Long-blade weapons are its primary weakness and deal increased damage. Other melee weapons deal normal or reduced damage depending on their weapon category. Extremely powerful attacks are compressed to prevent excessive burst damage from instantly bypassing the Tank’s intended durability. Melee Recoil Attacking the Tank with most melee weapons causes additional endurance loss and a small amount of arm pain to the attacker. Blunt weapons produce a stronger recoil effect. Long-blade weapons are excluded from the recoil effect because they are the Tank’s intended weakness. Knockdown Resistance The Tank cannot normally be knocked down by shoving or melee attacks. Vehicles, fences, and certain environmental situations can still knock it down. Colliding with the Tank causes significantly increased damage to the vehicle’s hood or trunk, depending on the direction of impact. Rage Mode When the Tank’s health falls below its Rage threshold, it stops pursuing its target and performs a short Rage animation. After the animation finishes, the Tank enters Rage Mode and becomes a sprinter. With the default settings, the Rage threshold begins at 15% health and increases by 5% each month, up to a maximum of 40%. Rage Health Gate If a powerful attack would reduce the Tank’s health below its Rage threshold, its health stops at the threshold once. This prevents the Tank from being killed by a single large burst of damage before Rage Mode can activate. The health gate can activate only once per Tank. It does not grant permanent invincibility, and subsequent attacks deal damage normally. Patches Sapph's Cooking for Inventory Tetris ! All items, most notably anything prepared inside of kitchen pans should now take an appropriate amount of place. If you find any items that should be adjusted that I have forgotten, feel free to post them in the comments, I'll take care of them as quickly as I can ! Most of the asset will be pixelated as it is of a low resolution, I may try to fix it latter. Now with new cirpsy textures ! You will need to enable the mod in the main menu. I know this mod is young, but it is superceded by my own similar mod Udderly Ammo Crafting found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2853657799 It does everything this can do and more, when I worked on this it gave me ideas. That said, this will stay up for anyone who just wants Kitsune's but for VFE.. Version of Kitsune's Ammo Craft mod extended to support the added calibers (.22 and 7.62) and magazine types in VFE, with some slight balance tweaking to suit VFE's harsher balance than vanilla.
