Alternative to using the broken drying racks I've been seeing a lot of talk about the Drying Racks being very buggy (and straight up not implemented in MP) which seems to be causing a lot of frustration amongst players... including myself. So I gave us an alternative option: Craft the Kiln Rack and dry it all in your Advanced kiln! Due to the lengths of time drying on the racks takes, I just went ahead and made all of the kiln drying processes require 10 minutes in-game-time. Herb drying recipes no longer use the variable input due to PZ MP logic bugs. Herb recipes now require an input of 20 leafybits. And yes, the static world model is a car grille... At Least Close The Damn Curtains When you start a game, your character is in a house surrounded by zombies... and the curtains are wide open. At Least Close The Damn Curtains automatically closes the curtains in the house where you spawn, because surviving the apocalypse starts with remembering to close the curtains. What does the mod do? By default, the mod only closes the curtains and adds sheets to windows and doors without curtains. Additional options allow you to make your character a little more prepared for the apocalypse, including: - Barricading the house. - Spawning with useful starting supplies. Because seriously, who leaves all the curtains open when there are zombies everywhere outside? This mod activates every time a player character spawns. So, if you die and create a new character, the mod will activate again. New: TV & Radio Options You can now control the TVs and radios in your spawn location! For both TVs and radios, you can configure: - Whether they are on or off at spawn. - Which channel they are set to. - Their volume, from mute to the highest level. The channel and volume settings apply regardless of whether the device is turned on or off. TV channels: Unchanged, Triple-N, WBLN News, Life and Living TV, TURBO, PawsTV, KPATV, Music Video, National Sports, Brannan Movie, GBC. Radio channels: Unchanged, Hitz FM, Civilian Radio, LBMW, Upper South, NNR, KnoxTalk, Unknown Frequency. In the screenshot, I spawned in a tall building, and as you can see, all the windows are barricaded. By default, the mod only barricades the first floor, but you can enable a sandbox setting to remove this restriction. You can also spawn outside. In that case, the mod will apply to the first building you enter. Immersive Barricade Spawn (3031475005): Obviously not compatible, since it does essentially the same thing. I didn't even try using both mods together, but I probably should, just to see what would happen. Immersive Barricade Spawn still works, but it throws some errors in the latest version (unless it has been fixed by the time you're reading this?). Immersive Barricade Spawn is the mod that inspired me to start making Project Zomboid mods. It has some interesting features that this mod does not implement, such as the diary, planks and nails on the floor, B41 support, and the barricaded trait. I do not plan to implement these features, so I strongly recommend checking out both mods and seeing which one you prefer. Language Support If you want me to add support for a specific language, please check the dedicated discussion. Multiplayer This mod doesn't work properly in multiplayer. NO LONGER UPDATED since recent updates added more recipes for ripping clothes so it will no longer be updated for now. Tired of having so much items in your inventory ? Need more rags for the numerous crafting additions ? I got you, here is RIP AND TEAR ( Almost all clothes). The following clothing can now be ripped ( just like in the other previous builds ) : - All shoes and boots - Vest and hunting vests - All underwear - All gloves except medical ones ( gotta stay away from the germs) - All shirts - All football clothes except protections - All hockey clothes except protections - All suits ( even spiffo ) Does not include : - Tails - Craftable ponchos ( Tarp and garbage ) - Some of the newly crafted recipe since might add some special drop in the future - Bulletproof vests ( might add metal drop to some in the future ) Loading this mod at the end of your mod list might help if you do not get the option to rip more clothes/leather/denim. Due to the state of the build 42 I am unable to clear the debug messages / menu but new categories have been added to the crafting menu in order to rip only leather or denim clothes ( error messages might popup but nothing game breaking at the moment , still trying to find a fix for that ). 🩹 Healing Modifiers Do you feel like healing in Project Zomboid sometimes takes an eternity? Healing Modifiers gives you full control over your survivor's recovery time, allowing you to focus more on survival and less on waiting around! This mod adds a new category to the Sandbox Settings, where you can define speed multipliers for each type of injury individually. ✨ Key Features: - Total Control: Adjust healing speed through simple multipliers. - Individual Configuration: Set different values for each trauma: * Fractures * Burns * Deep Wounds * Scratches & Lacerations * Bites (physical wound) 🛠️ How to Configure: 1. Look for the "Healing Modifiers" tab in Sandbox Settings. 2. Change the values: 1.0 is default, 2.0 is twice as fast. 3. Bonuses are applied automatically every in-game minute. ⚠️ Important Notes: - Knox Infection: This mod speeds up the wound healing, NOT the virus. - Multiplayer: Fully compatible with MP servers.
