Added Feat's Bone Binder - add's bone spear and bone shield, is availlable very early ingame. Savage Accessories - add's darfari Skin Bracer's, Chest piece and darfari skin greave's(cosmetic) Savage Wraps - Savage Footwraps and Hand wraps(cosmetic) Goldsmith - Add's Gold Bracelet, Gold Anklet, Gold Necklace and Gold Anklet's leather wrap.(cosmetic) Advanced Goldsmithing - Add's different variations of gold necklace and nipple piercings Slave Irons - add's slave bracelets and slave irons chest piece Mask Maker - Add's all the Darfari Mask's((cosmetic) Crucifix - Add's crucifix you can place useless thralls on to decorate and ward off would be enemies (from exile brewery mod, thanks Bto for letting use this asset) Animal Skull Headpiece's - Add's the dog's head piece's, vanilla aswell as 2 other recolor's. Branch - Wood to branch's Bark - Branches to Bark Changes Skin Texture - When you get hit, your skin no longer looks like you've just got out of a blood bath, instead you will look a little sweaty :P Weaver - will grant a loin-cloth instead of the coarse bottoms and top, still grants the feet and handwraps though there only cosmetic All NPC's faction's and tribe's have also being stripped down to reflect the setting of the server. On the other hand, original Sobek armor cannot be dyed but the replica version can be. The original Grey Ones spear cannot be transmogged onto most other spears, but the replica can as one might expect. If you uninstall this mod, the black market merchant will be gone from the tavern, and all replica items - and transmogged appearances - will disappear. [h1] It works again!!! (5/8/25) [/h1] This adds several alternate thrall breaking / friend making options to the game. This was made to add some variety to thralling / befriending besides the wheel of pain / wheel of friendship. [h1]Thrall Breaking / Friend Making: [/h1] This mod adds four new feats to the game. Each costs 0 points and requires the same relative tier of wheel of pain to be learned. [list] [*] [b]Thralling Places - T1 - Handcrafted [/b]: This adds two handcrafted items to the game. A wooden and an iron cage that act like lesser wheels of pain for breaking thralls. They each have room for one thrall. [*] [b]Thralling Places - T1 [/b]: This grants the same recipes as above. The recipes from this feat are crafted at the torturer's bench. However, since this bench is not gained when you learn the tier 1 wheel of pain, I have the handcrafted feat for lower levels. [*] [b]Thralling Places - T2 [/b]: This adds two handcrafted items to the game. A round wooden and a medium iron cage that act like a regular wheels of pain for breaking thralls. They each have room for four thralls. [*] [b]Thralling Places - T3 [/b]: This adds two handcrafted items to the game. A large rectangular wooden and a large rectangular iron cage that act like a greater wheels of pain for breaking thralls. They each have room for 8 thralls. Stuffed in nice and cozy. [*] [b]BONUS Places (5/8/25)[/b]: I also added two T1 places that were previously just an experiment; a red rug to gain friends by teaching them (ish) your religion and a barrel/stool set up for gaining friends via a friend bar. (It is just very tedious to add the item ids line by line, so I have not committed). I also considered adding other rug colors. If you have a strong desire, let me know and I will see about adding some variety. [/list] [h1]How do these work in game: [/h1] These thralling places work the same as the wheels of pain. You take bound thralls to them to drop them off. If there are unbroken thralls, they will appear to be sitting in the cages. If thralls are breaking, they will appear in various poses depending on the cage. Typically a mix of sitting, kneeling, arms crossed, and submissive. Admittedly, in some cages it will not be quick to tell if the trall is actively breaking or just waiting around (such as in the small wood cage). You will just have to check the cage in these cases. In the case of the small wooden cage there is no room to stand. [h1]Questions you may have: [/h1] [list] [*] [b]Why is this a separate mod from Animal Taming Places?[/b] Since each mod is completely independent in the systems it uses, I chose to keep them separate so that if one had compatibility issues for someone, they would still be able to use the other mod. [*] [b]Why can't I see thralls in the inventory after they are broken?[/b] Just as in the wheel of pain, once a thrall is finished, it will no longer appear in the cage. This is related to how the thrall breaking works. Unlike animal taming (which has a separate coded inventory) thralls only register when they are 'being crafted'. This dungeon is balanced at a hard difficulty for level 50 characters. VallenHeim is also balanced around groups of 3-6 players. Throughout testing we were able to struggle and complete the dungeon with two players before boss buffs. With a group of 3 we were able to beat the dungeon with some deaths and lots of provisions at level 50 with level 50 gear and weapons. VallenHeim is more accustomed to a raid and will be balanced to such. This dungeon is not meant to be solo'd and will never be balanced to be a solo dungeon. *I was able to maintain solid 60FPS throughout the whole dungeon as well as my other testers. [h3]What the Mod Changes[/h3] Going into each minute change here would be impossible as there's simply not enough space. I'll try to keep it brief: * General - hundreds of various adjustments to attack animations and their notifiers spread across all weapon classes. Full damage, stamina cost, staggers, and status effect rebalancing at the weapon class level. Replaced the Offhand kicks for all 1H weapons. Added 4-part Shield Bash Heavy combo for 1H Spears, Shortswords, and Truncheons. Colored weapon trails have been removed and replaced with the 'air-cutting' effect. Sound effect adjustments for nearly every attack. * 1H Axe - replacement of the Light combo with a 'Standardized' combo, essentially a modified 1H Sword Light combo. * 1H Mace - replaced the Light combo with the Standardized combo. * 1H Spear - Shield Bash and Throwing Axe combo support has been added. * 1H Sword - replaced the Light combo with the Standardized combo. The Heavy finisher has been replaced with its pre- Blood and Sand counterpart. An extended alternate Light / Heavy combo can be performed after Heavy 2/3. * Shortsword - added Shield Bash and Throwing Axe Heavy support. Implemented the Standardized Light combo when a Throwing Axe is equipped. * Truncheon - all attacks have been replaced with the standardized combo (thank me later). Shield Bash support has been incorporated. * 2H Axe - utilizes a majority of the 2H Mace animations. The old Heavy spin 'Whirlwind' attacks have been adjusted and moved to become a Heavy finisher sequence performed after Light 3. * 2H Mace - addition of the Whirlwind attacks to the alternate Heavy finisher position. * 2H Spear - re-implemented the old Light combo, with the stationary combo now mobile and in the Offhand slot. * 2H Sword - combo sequences reconstructed with re-implementation of the old Heavy opener and finisher. The Offhand kick has returned. Offhand attacks added to both combo branches. * Daggers - Swapped positions of Lights 1 + 2 and added an alternate Light 2 after Heavy 1. Offhand backflips will not reset a combo if timed correctly. * Bow - drawback speeds have been increased for the Heavy shot. [h3]Damage Balancing: [/h3] I have used several series of calculations to match the 1H / 2H weapon groups as close as possible to their base game counterparts, with 1H and 2H Swords as the direct baselines. The calculations account for base damage, armor penetration against the 'average target', and attack speed, with the result that every weapon class should* be relatively competitive against the average enemy, with opportunity to excel in their specific niche. * I have not touched individual weapon stats (base damage) in this mod; there will thus be outliers in every tier due to Funcom's choices in designing weapons. As well, given that the last rebalancing was performed prior to Age of Sorcery, there may be some tinkering to do, so bear with me. As the mod has solely been developed in and for singleplayer, there will likely be changes which [b]may[/b] negatively impact PvP experiences. You have been warned. [h3]Mod Compatibility[/h3] Known incompatible mods will be listed in Discussions as they are reported. If, for one reason or another, you do not like what I did with a particular weapon, it is possible to override that portion of my mod with another. If you want to crawl slower the slow your movement speed down with the walk toggle, crouching or mods such as TOT Walk. It is very simple and should work and be used with other mods that let's you pose or change speeds. It's not perfect but should work fine.. for whatever purpose you might need it. All 4 items should be auto learned and you can find the feat under the Religion tab. [b]How does it work?[/b] Once you acquire the item put it on your hotbar, use it and you will be in the crawling state (except the sneak replacer which requires you to crouch first), if you use it again you will turn it off. Nearly anything will cancel the animation like rolling, getting hit, playing other animations, etc... should work fine with other popular animation mods as the animation blueprint was not touched.
