Cerys is a complete and polished mod that does not modify the vanilla game in any way, so is easy to include in existing saves.

Dissolve ore into Aqua Regia to ship it in bulk via fluid wagons/pipes/rockets, then reconstitute it back into ore later. Optionally crystallize the dissolved ore further into a dense, barrel-free solid for maximum rocket/space platform cargo density. Works in vanilla; automatically extends to Space Exploration's special ores if SE is present, and to Space Age's new ores (tungsten-ore, calcite, holmium-ore) if the official expansion is present.

Clones entire regions of the map including cars and trains, for benchmarking purposes. Copies inventory contents, train schedules, circuit networks, and more!

Exports live game state (tech tree, production stats, logistics networks, player inventories, placed buildings, and a RecipeExporter-compatible recipe/prototype dump) as JSON/NDJSON under script-output for a local CLI or AI agent to read. Designed to be near-zero cost when disabled and cheap when enabled: no on_tick polling, engine-aggregated reads over full scans, and an incrementally-maintained building index instead of periodic full scans.

Decreases load times and video memory usage (VRAM) by removing animations from almost all entities in the game.

Per-nest control over enemy spawn composition. Adds a startup setting for every unit-spawner prototype (biter-spawner, spitter-spawner, egg-rafts, plus any added by mods such as Colossal Enemies). Each setting takes entries like 'medium-biter 0.2=0.00,0.6=0.40' to add or override a unit's evolution/rate table, or '-small-biter' to remove a unit from the nest entirely. Rates are relative shares of that nest's spawns, normalised across its units at every evolution level — same semantics as vanilla result_units.

This is the list of mods that I am currently using. It includes the official Space Exploration modpack, all AAI things, and other stuffs. This modpack should work well for both new and veteran players.
