This is a simple mod I put together to modify the creature den critters to actually have a benefit than just a cute face with an insatiable need for whatever food you have laying around. When the player is suffering from sanity loss your pet will become more and more concerned for your well being and will be more likely to "nuzzle" you (something they technically already did). but now will give you sanity benefits when they do nuzzle you. Mod configuration allows you to be more specific of the benefits. Petting your critter also gives half a point of sanity.

The Floor is Lava

In this mod, the floor is lava! You have to stand on man-made floors to not take constant damage. Certain turfs do more damage than others, so watch out. BARREN turf does almost no damage, so it is wise to dig trenches where ever you go using a pitchfork. Beware SWAMP and ROCKY turf as those are super deadly. CHECKERED and CARPET floor restore a bit of health when you stand on them, but not much, so you still have to move around. There is a new SETPIECE you can find around the world that has more floors and some loot. Recommended World Gen settings: ⠀⠀⠀⠀Starting Resource Variety: CLASSIC ⠀⠀⠀⠀World Gen Spawn Area: FLOOR IS LAVA (a new option added by the mod) It's possible to kill dragonfly (I've done it, but pretty hard), and maybe even other raid bosses. Making SCALED FLOORING is worth it, trust me. Good luck, and make sure not to burn your feet off!
