Wren the Uncaged. A friendly bird who's escaped her confines, here to survive the wilderness. Flaws: 75% Normal damage Gets hungry 1.8x normal rate Starves to death 4x normal rate Half benefits of health and sanity from food. Perks: 125% Movement speed Fast Gathering Produces fertilizer, seeds and eggs Wren emulates the function of the caged bird. She has a very small stomach, gets hungry faster, and starves to death faster than normal. However, she can produce eggs, guano and seeds a bit better than a caged bird. So, although she must eat often, clever players can maximize the benefits of eating certain foods. However, she doesn't like to eat anything made with eggs (at least when it still looks like an egg.) She can't eat chocolate, as it's toxic to birds (certain event items.) And of course, she hates harming her bird friends. She's not well suited for combat, having a bellow average HP pool and dealing less damage, but she moves and gathers quickly, best suited for a supportive and base-building role. She starts with a shovel so she can get right to gathering materials to create her nest.

The option Crafting Cost Factor works like this: if you choose 140 slots and a Crafting Cost Factor of 5, then the Cut Stone and Board cost will be 140 / 5 = 28 Boards/Cut Stones. By default the Crafting Cost Factor is 10, you can change from 1 to 20. Can slow down, stop and boost food spoilage. 2.1 UPDATE because of codeing differences between DS and DST i needed to remove the mortar and pestle, the mod is still completly functional with out it, however it will not come back until a new way is found to allow a player to crush an item in there inventory to make a new item. however a lot of bug fixes where also introduced in this update, so hopefully it runs a bit smoother. 2.0 UPDATE You can now craft a mortar and pestle to craft up to 10 crushed petles at a time, this should cut down on the time it takes to break down large amounts of flowers. Thank you to Vuohi for providind codeing and aidind with this large update! This mod allows you to craft Poultices from petals and butterfly wings, in the survival tab, using a science machine, these Poultices heal you for a small to large amount of health depending on what Poultice you make. Health bonus from crafting the item is small, so the efficiency of crafting the item, saves time from eating lots of petals, rather than a boost to what the petals do to begin with, makeing it balanced. BUGS the items when dropped are small, this is not intended, however does not pose a real problem. This is my first mod i have ever made, so just let me know if you encounter any more bugs.
