Its low price comes with drawbacks: interiors are cramped, the small reactor can't power all the devices at once, and a hungry motor engine will make the submarine suffer blackouts every now and then. Still, it is one of the most reliable submarines you can get on a tight budget. The Katorga series, built by SOMBRA Corporation, were rare submarines that braved Europa’s depths. Only one 99 model was made after the corporations dissapearence. The 99 still runs the fuel-efficient nuclear engine, top-tier batteries, and a drone—but simplifies many of the previous designs and adds in much needed utility in the form of research and artifact containment at the cost of some rear firepower. The old crew also wired in some reactor automation and a way to deal with ballast flora.
