Yes, you can set up scheduled wipes. Many servers wipe weekly or monthly. Map wipes and blueprint wipes are independently configurable in the control panel.

What map size should I use?

For 50 players we recommend a map size of 3,000–3,500. Larger maps (4,000+) require more RAM and CPU resources. The procedural seed is freely configurable to get the map topology you want.

How many players can join a Rust server?

The player limit is configurable. Actual resource demand depends on concurrent players, map size, plugins, and load; choose RAM and slots for your scenario in the configurator and monitor usage after launch.

Can I link the server to RUST+ Companion?

Yes, RUST+ (the official companion app) works on dedicated servers. Players can receive push notifications, view the team map, and use server chat directly in the app. Pairing happens automatically via the in-game pair code.

How do I get started after ordering?

After provisioning, configure the server name, map size, seed, and maximum players in the control panel. Larger Steam installations can take longer. Research uMod plugins in the catalog; automated installation is not currently enabled.
