Pixelmon is a large NeoForge modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1: over 1,000 Pokémon with dedicated models spawn in matching biomes, can be caught with Poké Balls, and battle against each other. Terralith world generation adds denser landscapes, and extra structures give you more to explore and loot.
Unlike the leaner Fabric pack Cobblemon, Pixelmon runs on NeoForge and ships its own soundtrack resource pack — at around 400 MB it's noticeably larger, and boots with more content ready to go from the start.
The base setup includes quality-of-life mods such as JEI for the recipe overview and JourneyMap for the in-game map; Tectonic and Incendium extend world generation with additional biomes and structures beyond Terralith.
On your own server, you decide spawn rates, rules and who plays — unlike a public Pixelmon server with someone else's settings. Catch, train and battle together with your group without a waiting queue.

Understanding Pixelmon spawns: we read the files and default values and verified changed legendary spawn values with /checkspawns. The actual spawn effect with players was not measured.

Denser landscapes, new biomes and mountain formations make for varied exploration.
A dedicated soundtrack resource pack and extra structures make this one of the most extensive packs in our catalog.
A successful installation, startup or join test applies only to the tested version and does not demonstrate stable operation under every player load.

Cobblemon runs on Fabric and is leaner; Pixelmon runs on NeoForge, ships its own soundtrack resource pack, and is considerably larger — the mod file alone is around 400 MB. You can order either pack with us — which one fits depends on how much content you want.
For a start we recommend 6 GB RAM. With many players or extra mods, more may help — you can upgrade the RAM at any time later.
