What is BetterMC: VanillaReborn?
VanillaReborn is Vanilla+ done right: new structures, more exploration and plenty of comfort features expand the core experience without bloating it. If you love Vanilla but want more to discover, this is your pack.
The server runs a curated selection of 60+ server-safe mods — client-only content is stripped automatically during installation so the server boots reliably.
In game, Minecraft stays Minecraft: you explore new structures and dungeons, meet additional mobs and collect gear that fits the vanilla balance. Comfort features take the fiddly parts off your hands without changing how the game feels.
On your own server that means: invite friends, build bases together and explore the new structures — even players who are usually sceptical about mods feel at home right away. If your group grows, you can upgrade the RAM in the panel at any time.
Recommended setup
We recommend at least 4 GB RAM on Minecraft 1.21.1. The pack is boot-verified on our infrastructure; you can raise the RAM at any time for larger groups.

Yes. The wizard preselects the matching loader; modpack pages also load only the verified featured pack.
Can I change version and RAM later?
Yes. Always check compatibility and create a backup before changing versions.
Do players need the modpack on their own PC?
Yes. Every player installs BetterMC: VanillaReborn through a launcher like the Modrinth App — the server only ships the server side of the pack.
Can I add more mods?
Yes. You can upload additional NeoForge mods via the file manager. Check compatibility and create a backup first.
Is 4 GB RAM enough?
For small groups, yes. With many players or large worlds you can raise the RAM in the panel at any time — no reinstall needed.
