What is SkyFactory 4?
SkyFactory 4 turns the classic skyblock concept on its head: there is no ground beneath you, just a tree and a chest. Everything else — resources, food, machines — has to be earned through automation and resource multiplication.
The prestige mode lets you start over in a fresh world with global unlocks after beating the pack — for anyone who wants to dig even deeper into the skyblock loop.
That one tree becomes an entire production empire: breed saplings, unlock resource trees, sieve, smelt and finally run fully automated plants — the loop of scarcity and automation is the heart of SkyFactory.
On a server the island grows together: every new platform, every machine is visible team progress — and once you are through, Prestige mode restarts you in a fresh world with global unlocks. The compact void world keeps server load pleasantly low.
Recommended setup
6 GB RAM is plenty for the skyblock classic — the void world is tiny, and only large automation builds need more. Boot-verified on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Java 8, the pack's official foundation.

What exactly does prestige mode do?
Once you reach certain milestones you can move to a fresh world while keeping unlocked perks — that keeps the skyblock experience exciting even on a second run.
Is 6 GB RAM enough?
Stable for 2 to 5 players, yes. With more players or elaborate factories you can raise the RAM in the panel at any time.
