Infinite Zoop on Your Satisfactory Server
Infinite Zoop extends the game's zoop feature — the one that lets you drag foundations and walls in a row — in two ways at once: the maximum zoop count grows step by step through a dedicated research tree in the MAM, and walls as well as foundations can additionally be placed in two dimensions, as an area of rows and columns, in a single action. For large factory platforms that saves hundreds of individual clicks. If you would rather skip the research, enable "Cheater Mode" in the mod configuration from the main menu and get unlimited zoop immediately. The mod is made by SirDigby, is published under GPL-3.0 on GitHub, and has been downloaded more than 850,000 times.
Tip: The mod has a threshold above which build effects are hidden when very many parts are placed at once — turn it on before somebody places a thousand foundations in one go.
What server operators should know
Infinite Zoop has to be present on the dedicated server and on every player in the same version under FactoryGame/Mods, because the mod changes build behaviour and the server must recognise the placed parts. The current release requires SML from the 3.12 line; after every game update check SML first and then the mod version on ficsit.app.
Two settings matter most on multiplayer servers. First, the effect threshold: without it, every client calculates the build animation for each individual part of a 2D zoop spanning hundreds of pieces, which can freeze or crash weaker machines. Second, the optional savegame switch that allows zooped foundations and walls to be removed together with the blueprint dismantle mode (press R while in dismantle mode) — this requires the Tier 4 Blueprinter to be unlocked. Whether the additional zoop also applies to ladders can be disabled separately.
Because the MAM research is stored per save, all players on a server share the progress. Back up the save before removing the mod: the parts themselves remain vanilla objects, but the research branch leaves entries in the save that produce a warning when loaded without the mod. After uploading a new version, restart the server and verify with a client that the extended zoop actually applies — a silent version mismatch otherwise only shows up while building.
