AI Auto Translation An OpenAI-compatible API powered mod text translation and cache replacement tool: scan & translate first, then replace texts from local cache at runtime. Preface - Scope: scans and processes localization keys under Mods.{ModName}.* (e.g. Items/NPCs/Buffs/Configs, etc.). You can exclude specific mods via “Ignored Mod Names” (defaults include "ModLoader"). - When it translates: only entries missing from cache and above the “English Ratio Threshold (%)” will trigger translation. - Mechanism: triggered by “Scan and Translate Now” or /aitranslate scan; supports batching, concurrency, stop-on-error, and periodic autosave to disk. - Runtime behavior: only reads local JSON cache and replaces texts; no network requests are made in runtime hooks. - Trying it out: if you just want to test, you can look for public/community AI services that provide an OpenAI-compatible API and a free quota. The author recommends ModelScope Community (MoDa), which offers DeepSeek, GLM, and other models, usually with a daily refreshed free quota (subject to their policy). - Prerequisite & cost: bring your own API key; requests are sent to the provider you choose and may incur costs. - Manual stop: you can cancel a running translation task via the “Stop Translation Task” button or /aitranslate stop (completed results will be saved to cache as much as possible). Usage (Steps) - Enable this mod. - Open: Settings → Mod Config → “AI Auto Translation”. - Configure provider: choose a preset or fill Base URL / Model / API Key (OpenAI-compatible). - Set source and target languages (default en → zh-Hans). - Click “Scan and Translate Now” and wait for the in-game chat progress messages to finish. (The chat box only appears after you enter a world, so you can keep it translating while you play.) - If you need to stop early, click “Stop Translation Task” or run /aitranslate stop. - After it finishes, restart the game to apply the translations. Command: /aitranslate scan|stop|clear scan = scan & translate; stop = stop translation task; clear = clear cache Notes - Client-side mod: config is not synced to servers; dedicated server cannot open the config UI. - Recommended: test on a small scope first; use ignore lists to exclude mods/keys to avoid large bursts and rate limits. - After changing model/prompt/strategy, consider clearing cache and rescanning. - Quality depends on the source text and model; you may back up or delete cache files to reset. This mod changes a lot of Terraria's systems and makes many minor changes, all in easily configurable ways. You are given creation and modification cores. Modification cores allow you to make useful stations and accessories, and creation cores let you make unique weapons. All changes can simply be switched on or off based on your preferences Major changes this mod makes include... Replacing healing potions with a regenerating vitality meter. Pressing your quick heal button will take health from the meter to heal you. Making weapons from other sources deal very low damage in favor of a system of 100+ unique weapons. You craft one of 6 weapons with a creation core, and then upgrade that weapon throughout the game, making choices along branching paths to end up with a final, stronger version of that weapon. Making all classes deal very low damage until you equip an attunement stone of a certain class, given upon spawning, in order to let yourself be effective wih that class. This forces you to restrict yourself to only certain classes unless you take up multiple accessory slots with auxiliary stones, discouraging multiclassing. Making you manage your heat to avoid hyperthermia and hypothermia Smaller changes this mod makes include... Letting you choose how many creation and modification cores you spawn with Letting you choose if the vitality meter gets stronger throughout progression or not Giving you buffs throughout progression (a dash, knokcback/fall damage immunity, etc.) to free up some accessory slots Making bosses thoughout progression drop cores Making you suffocate in space Making nights darker Making enemies spawn less often, increasing their stats, and giving them a chance to drop double loot Making corruptum, a block that slows the regeneration of your vitality buffer and gives enemies a chance to clone themselves on death spawn underground Weakening you briefly after taking a hit that deals more damage than your defense Restricting certain items such as the void bag Making it impossible to gain immunity to certain debuffs such as bleeding, damage over time debuffs, and sight restriction debuffs Making recipes more expensive Making you respawn faster Making you respawn slower during boss fights Stopping tombstones from spawning on death (modification cores can be used to make a station to get tombstones) Adding enemies to different spawn pools (for example, yellow slimes can spawn during the day in the forest) Increasing enemy spawn rates during events Increasing your movement speed near groups of enemies Tip: dropping items into shimmer will let you go back on your decisions Developed By Callian
