Поэтому я взял один классный, но забытый мод и переделал его, руководствуясь двумя принципами: 1) превратить смерть из мелкого неудобства в серьёзную угрозу, с которой нужно считаться, и таким образом замотивировать игрока тщательно планировать свои действия. 2) дать игроку полный контроль над ситуацией, чтобы избавить его от лишнего стресса и дискомфорта (или добавить ещё больше; на вкус и цвет, как говорится :P) Итого, что мы имеем: - Опциональный улучшенный Медиумкор, где после смерти ваш инвентарь хранится у дружелюбного призрака, который тоже сохраняется вместе с миром. - Опциональная система наказаний, которая накладывает различные штрафы за смерть персонажа. - Множество вариантов обработки инвентаря после смерти: какие предметы остаются у игрока, а какие выпадают, что делать с монетами, и так далее. - Доступность для персонажей Классического режима, Путешествия и Медиумкора. * * * Полностью совместимо с модами: - Neat Mediumcore - Моды, дополняющие визуал и эффекты от смерти - например, Sam's Cooler Death Screen - По сути, все моды, кроме тех, которые перерабатывают логику смерти Совместимы, но пока не поддерживаются: - Моды, предотвращающие смерть (например, воскрешающие предметы в Calamity) — предметы выпадут после первой "смерти". - Моды, расширяющие инвентарь / комплекты снаряжения — предметы, находящиеся в этих слотах, будут полностью зависимы от логики этих модов. - Некоторые моды, добавляющие пользовательские префиксы к предметам — система штрафов может неправильно видеть предметы с ними; в остальном проблем не будет. So here I am, digging out this cool but forgotten mod and redesigning it with 2 intentions in mind: 1) to turn death from being a small nuisance into a significant threat, so that a player would be motivated to thoroughly plan their actions. 2) to give player full control of the situation, in order to prevent excessive stress and discomfort (or add more to it; tastes differ y'know :P) Main features: - Optional enhanced Mediumcore where, on death, your inventory is saved by a friendly ghost which also gets saved with the world. - Optional penalty system, which punishes player for character's death in several possible ways. - Various settings of processing your inventory after death in many ways: which items are to stay equipped or dropped, coin management, etc. - Availability for Classic, Journey & Mediumcore characters. * * * Fully compatible mods: - Neat Mediumcore - Any death visual mods like Sam's Cooler Death Screen - Basically, any mods aside from the ones that alter death logic Compatible but not supported (as of yet): - Mods that prevent death (such as Calamity's reviving mechanisms) - items will drop on first fake "death". - Mods that expand inventory / loadout slots - items held in those slots will behave in accordance with these mods' logic. - Some mods that add custom modifiers to items - penalty system might misdetect items with those; no issues other than that.
