Made MakeshiftBeamCharges for Frequency, and fixed the Difficulty for KristicMarrow. Disorderly Gemstone can now be crafted into Celestial Enzyme, although the texture is broken. yuh 0.24: (5/24/2026) Yesterday but cooler. Added a new bullet type which is basically better chlorophyte bullets. One vortex fragment and 5 evil stone blocks. Also fixed the texture issue with Celestial Enzyme. JESSEE bg has better monitor support, and has a bouncy logo. Boss concepts are in the works. yuh 1.0: (5/26/2026) THE BOSS IS HERE! Thermos is a new ice themed boss that you can summon with his item. It's just called thermos summon item, but you can craft it with 20-ish ice blocks, 1 platinum or gold ore, and 3 torches. He has 2 minion types. when he gets to 5/6th health, he sends Cryo Chargers at you. They dash in a straight line, and take decent knockback. at 1/3rd health, Thermos makes a shield out of 5 Cryo Protectors. You cannot damage Thermos until the protectors are dead. THERE ARE NO DROPS. I also have added Bestiary logs under Snow. Please use comments or threads for patch or balancing requests. Sorry for the long wait. Developed By DaMemeGod80 yuh 1.0.3: (5/27/2026) Immediately needed SERIOUS balance changes to the boss, the Cryo Chargers had their speed nerfed, their damage nerfed, AND defense basically halfed. Thermos drops 12-25 Platinum ore, 3-8 Kristic Marrow, and drop 2-6 gold. Working on treasure bags and expert pets and stuff. Elite Visionary and Kristic Razer have proper tooltips now. Updated background logo on JESSEE bg. Next patch note will nerf Starksman bullets like crazy. Starting concepts on a post plantera boss.

Better Than Slimes (name inspired by the Minecraft modpack: Better Than Wolves) is a modpack focused on difficulty in all aspects: progression, survival, combat, etc. If it wasn't clear, this was intentionally made to be VERY difficult, with new mechanics and changes added to make the playtime in this modpack intentionally much higher than other mods or games. So you are a bad blacksmith, but even bad would be a stretch. You have a chance to not craft something with your "bad" hands, you can't use proper weapons, and even tinkerer can't help you..
