Level-Turret: The turret smart enough to know what to shoot! First off please note that there may be errors and bugs with this so please bear with me and I will fix them as soon as I can. I'm looking for people who are interested in testing this mod to iron out the bugs and understand that it may have it's faults. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hey folks, have you wanted to build a war quetzal before but realize "Man, I don't want to shoot those rare 116 and 120 spawns?" If you haven't, you should, because it's a legit question to ask! I’m bringing you the Level Turret. Smart enough to know not to shoot at spawns you deem worthy of living, yet merciless to destroy all of those that aren't! What's that? You want to capture those high level spawns that you can't carry? Well. You. Can. The Level Turret features an option to shoot mobs above your threshold with tranquilizer shots, great for when you want to take something down quickly, but don't have the ability to carry! Or not. Your choice. Based on an idea by ErraticEngineer/Anxarch, ChiBlaaa invites you to alpha test the Level turret. For science! Admins have the choice of offering the auto-tranq feature via the ini file There’s 2 settings available to you in the GameUserSettings.ini You need to place the following at the end AllowTranq=True (or False) - default = false TurretDMG=70 (default) TameDinoDmg=70 (default) AllowTranq enables the admin to disable my auto-tranq feature. TurretDMG is the amount of DMG you want the turrets to do to the dinos lower than the threshold (default is 70 which is what turrets are defaulted to anyway) TameDinoDmg is the damage your turret will make to tamed dinos and players These turrets act as normal turrets would to normal enemies and enemy dinos. Once you place the turret you get 5 options: 1. Activate/De-active auto-tranq (if enabled by server admin) 2. Increase increment of max level - has 3 increment levels 5, 25 & 50) 3. Increase Max Level by increment value 4. Decrease Max Level by increment value 5. Only consume ammo and damage Wild Dinos only. (You need to set targeting to All) Turret is craftable in the players inventory. Turrets will fire at enemies even if auto-tranq is disabled but the bullets will not be used Turrets will fire at enemies/tamed dinos even when Wild Dinos only is selected but it will not damage them. This is just until the ability to disable firing for the turrets is available. As always please let me know of any bugs you find. Mod has been tested both on SP and dedicated but it needs public testing. Please report any bugs you may encounter. ARK Diseases Evolved is a heavy work in progress! Fully stackable with any mod and can be loaded last. Properties Welcome to ARK Diseases Evolved – introducing you to a new level of biological warfare! X amount of creatures will be infected with random ARK Diseases. These diseases will spread to players that go near them. Once infected, you’ll start to suffer the consequences of your contracted disease. Some of them go away over time, and some will not and must be cured. Diseases are spread by being near a carrier – how close depends on the disease itself. ARK Diseases Evolved Support every map and will also infect all types of modded creatures and player pawns. Infections are started by consuming the ARK Diseases Spawner – which can only be spawned by admins. Creatures that have the bIsBossDino ticked will not get infected. Disease Mode Standard mode. Will infect X amount of wild creatures. These diseases can only be spread from infected wild creatures to humans. That’s it. They can be cured using the Universal Cure, learned at level 1. This cure also works like a vaccine, you can prevent getting diseases by preventively drinking it. Cure also works on creatures. Extinction Mode You can change an option in your GUS.ini to enable the extinction event. If this is enabled, the original diseases will not be used. This disease will infect wild creatures, tamed creatures, and humans. It can spread in all directions and it can not be cured. Once infected, you start to lose health and after 300 seconds you will be dead. Diseases Remember, this is a WIP, some may be adjusted, removed, or completely revamped. I might add in more diseases later on as well. - Cold/Fever – Lasts 30 minutes and will reduce your max stamina by 20% and very slowly drain your health for the entire duration. Removes 100 hyperthermic insulation. Is not lethal if left uncured. - Plague – Lasts 15 minutes. Will reduce your speed by 20% and drain your health, water, and food until death or cured. Is lethal if uncured. - Pneumonia – Lasts 20 minutes. Will reduce your max stamina and speed by 75% and slowly drain your health. Is lethal if uncured. - Dysentery – Lasts 20 minutes. Makes you poop a lot, and dehydrates you rather slowly. Is not lethal if left uncured. - Neuropathy – Lasts 30 minutes. Will reduce your speed by 50% and prevent jumping and riding on creatures. Is not lethal if left uncured. - Typhus – Lasts 5 minutes. Will drain your health rapidly. Is lethal if not cured. - Fungal Spores – Lasts 10 minutes. Will give you one hell of a trip. Groovy! - Catalepsy – Last 5 minutes. Will force you to fall asleep. Is not lethal if left uncured. - Happiness – Lasts 10 minutes. Will make you very happy and triples your experience gained. - Sadness – lasts 10 minutes. Will make you very sad and not gain any experience. GameUserSettings.ini CreateInfections=1250 DisableDinoColoring=False Extinction=False CreateInfections decides how many infections are created when consuming the spawner. DisableDinoColoring toggles if infected creatures change color. Extinction toggles the extinction event.
