Grounded Item Janitor is a server-side only mod designed to intelligently clean up items that have been left on the ground for a long time, while protecting resources in active player areas. Recommended to use together with item auto-stacking mods, such as: Auto Stack and Pick Up Features - Automatically removes long-idle ground items Items that remain uncollected for a long time and are far from player activity will be removed once they exceed the configured lifetime during a cleanup cycle. Only items that are far away from players and in inactive areas will be cleaned up, ensuring items near players remain unaffected. - Activity-based lifetime extension (Awake extension) When items become active near players, their lifetime will be extended. Based on how often they become active, items can gain up to +20 extra days before being removed. - Keep the newest groups per item type During cleanup, the newest N groups can be kept for each item type. For example, keeping the 2 most recent stacks of Logs or Rocks while removing older abandoned ones. This prevents basic world resources from being completely depleted. - Cleanup announcements After each cleanup cycle, a summary of the removed items will be broadcast in the chat channel (Surface / Caves). - Configurable cleanup interval The cleanup process can run every N in-game days. - Custom watched items Supports defining additional tracked items through text configuration (requires Configs Extended). If you're like me, you were hoping they'd add more once the update came out and were disappointed when it was just the two lines for each item. So I decided to fill the Lucy shaped hole in all of our hearts myself! Full disclosure, this is "built" off of Harrowick's "Extra Lucy Quotes", and will probably not work with it because of that. I want to fix that at some point, but as of right now I would advise against using both. Given the nature of how I did this, if they want me to remove this mod, I will. As is the standard for every mod I release (apparently), yell at me if something breaks.
