This mod was inspired by a discussion on the Klei forums. We've added a touch of realism to the Slurtles and Snurtles. Just like real-life snails, they are now vulnerable to salt. In this mod, eating Salt Crystals will cause them to dehydrate and take damage over time. As a bonus, Snurtles killed this way are much more likely to leave behind their Snurtle Shell Armor. New Dish: Salt-Baked Snail Cooked with 3 Slurtle Slime and 1 Salt Crystal, this delicacy gives you a powerful defensive buff for 8 minutes (1 game day): You are immune to any attack dealing less than 20 damage. If an attack deals more than 20 damage, the excess damage is halved (50% reduction). Works against both normal and Planar Damage, and stacks with your worn armor.
