The Codex Umbra has always been Maxwell's alone. This mod opens its shadow magic to the whole cast: craft the book at a Shadow Manipulator and call forth Shadow Servants to do your chores. Summoning drains your sanity exactly as it does for Maxwell, so it stays fair. Features - Codex For Everyone — Every character can craft and use the codex umbra, not just Maxwell. - Shadow Servants — For other characters the codex does one thing: summon shadow servants. The duelist, sneak and prison spells are not included. - Straight to Summoning — The codex skips the spell wheel and goes right to placing a shadow servant — one click, no menu. - Maxwell Unchanged — Nothing about Maxwell is altered: he keeps his full four-spell book, crafts his codex anywhere for 50 health, and his magician's top hat and chest stay his alone. - Balanced by Sanity — Each servant carries the same sanity cost it does for Maxwell, so it never gets out of hand. - Cost — 2 Papyrus, 2 Nightmare Fuel and 100 Health — except Wes and Wanda, who pay only 50 Health. - Shadow Manipulator — Survivors craft the codex at the Shadow Manipulator, in the magic tab. Edit of 'Halloween Treats' that removes nearly everything except trick-or-treating, and the candy jar. (Credit goes to orginal creators, I only modified and removed stuff.) The original mod (that isn't fully working) can be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2625422345 You can go trick-or-treating at NPC houses for candy, and create a spacious and convenient jar to store all your candy in. Known Issue: If you die during the trick-or-treat cutscene, the game with crash. (IDK how to fix that.) Watch out for tentacles if you visit merm houses! This mod edit is for a younger sibling of mine that plays DST, but wasn't able to go trick-or-treating IRL this year. Please enjoy, and thank you.
