After equipping the shield, use **Right Mouse Button** to show the blocking arc/range (configurable; press the same key again to cancel), then use **Left Mouse Button** to confirm the direction and enter a **2-second blocking state**. 2. After **0.5 seconds** in the blocking state, you can cancel the block by **moving or attacking**. 3. **Left Alt** toggles the shield on/off (configurable; can only be toggled when the shield is **not on cooldown**, the **fan-shaped selection is not active**, and you are **not currently blocking**). Shield Mechanics (overall similar to the Battle Round Shield): 1. When blocking ends, the shield enters a **5-second cooldown** (during cooldown you **cannot unequip or switch shields**, and **cannot toggle** the shield on/off). 2. Each **successful block** resets the cooldown to **0**. 3. Each successful block **extends the block duration by 1.2 s**, up to a **maximum total of 5.6 s**. 4. If you block in the **wrong direction**, damage is applied normally (armor still works as usual). 5. PURIFICATION still IN PROGRESS... tldr; this is the same mod except it uses higher quality audio files¹, some with extended versions² of the original songs and reworked track looping, all while being smaller than the original xd this is the original alias conrad coldwood ost btw 100 subscribers and i'll do one for the Remake OST lmao (also turned the volume the FUCK down outta the ruins combat theme, that shit was LOUD) full track list can be found in the mod folder or here (this also includes the modified audio files) ¹ provided to me by Coldwood himself........ in a 6 year old reddit thread i found, then took the FLAC files and reencoded to mp3 to save space³ and converted to a format the Spirit Of The Machine (the game) likes ² funny thing i found: some songs listed as multiple tracks on the og game files are actually one big song ("Today is worst" is the second half of "Yesterday was better", but in the soundtrack, it's just one longer song, same with "Rainy Day (In/Out/Meat)")⁵ ³ this is a complete lie, i barely know about compression and fily types and used mp3 because it was the first option on Audacity⁴ ⁴ it was actually because that's what was inside the original mod's files, and i initially thought i just needed to switch them for mine and be done (it wasnt that at all) ⁵ also some songs are just slowed down (and in one instance, reversed) versions of other songs (O Rosto de um Assassino Cansado and Fourteen (fake) Residents are slowed down 70%, Brain Plague and its whole fuckery in The Room with it being reversed sometimes, etc.) guhhhhhhh what else SUBSCRIBE NOW Original mod by Drewzy.
