What Is the CS2 Match Center?
The Match Center installs the complete match stack – MetaMod:Source + CounterStrikeSharp + MatchZy – as one tested version set with a single click, instead of you installing every component by hand. CounterStrikeSharp is the plugin platform for CS2, and MatchZy builds on top of it to add match control, a ready system and automatic GOTV recordings.

The promise behind it: “Your match. One control room.” The Match tab shows you the state of the match stack, game server and controls at a glance – including a player row that lists humans and bots separately. That count comes straight from status_json via RCON, not from a guess.
No SourceMod for CS2 – the Most Common Misunderstanding
One thing confuses a lot of customers: there is no SourceMod for Counter-Strike 2. AlliedModders officially lists CS2 as unsupported, and MatchZy technically runs on top of CounterStrikeSharp, not SourceMod. That's why SourceMod shows up in the match stack as “Not yet available for CS2” – visible, but deliberately locked. Once a verified build passes the full release gate, the same provider can be enabled for you without any change to the interface.
The Match Stack at a Glance

| Component | Version | Status |
|---|---|---|
| MetaMod:Source | v2.0.0-git1407 | Managed |
| CounterStrikeSharp | v1.0.371 | Managed |
| MatchZy | v0.8.15 | Managed |
| SourceMod | – | Not yet available for CS2 |
“Managed” means we maintain the version and its updates for you. New versions first run through our internal test server – installation, server start, plugin load, RCON status, a test match and a GOTV demo – and are never pulled straight from latest without review. Downloads are also checked against their SHA-256 checksum before being unpacked, and the system checks for active players before every restart: if the server is occupied or the player status is unknown, the update waits. You can uninstall the stack again at any time via the “Remove match stack” button (details further down).
Setting Up a Match

In the form you enter Team 1 and Team 2, pick the map from a dropdown (for example de_mirage), and choose the format – MR12 or MR15. You can also enable an optional knife round and overtime via checkboxes, and the ready system makes sure the match only starts once every player has readied up. Finish by clicking “Load match” so MatchZy pushes the configuration to the server.
Live Controls: Start, Restart, Stop
The live controls card always shows the current state of the match, for example “Ready for setup.” From there you can start, restart or stop the match – it starts as soon as every player has readied up through the ready system.
Round Backups
MatchZy continuously saves the round state of your match. If there's a disconnect or a failed start, you can restore the match to an earlier round instead of starting completely over.
GOTV: Automatic Demo Recording

The Match Center automatically records a GOTV demo for every match. The “GOTV active” status line shows your server's current spectator port (for example 45002 in the screenshot – your actual port is assigned individually). A one-click toggle lets you turn GOTV off or back on, and finished demos are available right in the panel via a Download link.
Removing the Match Stack
You can uninstall the entire stack at any time via the “Remove match stack” button – the same safety rules apply as during installation: active or unknown player states block the restart. Only the managed paths are removed – MetaMod, CounterStrikeSharp including MatchZy, and the managed MatchZy configuration. Your GOTV demos remain fully intact as customer data, and any third-party plugins you installed yourself are left untouched.
Availability: Rolling Out in Stages
To be upfront: the one-click installation is currently being rolled out to CS2 servers in stages. Right now it runs on internal test servers and individually enabled pilot servers – your server gets the Match Center once its server ID has been explicitly added to the pilot list. One benefit is already guaranteed regardless: the GSLT token is included with game-serverhosting – unlike many competitors, you don't need to bring your own Steam token.
