Invite friends to your Palworld server

Palworld supports co-op with up to 32 players on a dedicated server. Unlike in some other games, there is no invite link – your friends connect directly via IP address and port.

Step 1: Find the server address and port

As soon as your server is marked as ready, you’ll see the connection details in your dashboard’s server tile.

Make a note of:

  • IP address (or subdomain, if you’ve configured one)
  • Port (default for Palworld: 8211)

Share this combination with your friends.

Step 2: Set the max player count

In the PalworldSettingsWizard, set ServerPlayerMaxNum to the desired number (1–32). Recommendations:

Number of players Recommended value RAM guideline
2–4 players 4–8 8–10 GB
5–10 players 10 12–14 GB
11–20 players 20 16 GB
21–32 players 32 20–24 GB

Save after making the change – the server will restart automatically.

Step 3: Optionally set a password

  • No password (leave empty): Anyone who knows the server address can join right away.
  • Set password: Only players with the password can join. Enter your chosen password in the ServerPassword field in the Wizard.

If you want a password but still want to list the server in the Community Browser: That’s possible – players will see it in the browser and be asked for the password when joining.

Step 4: Make it visible in the Community Browser

Enable the COMMUNITY_SERVER toggle in the Wizard so your server appears in the public Palworld Community Browser. This also lets players find it even if you haven’t shared the IP with them directly.

Step 5: Join as a player

Your friends start Palworld, go to “Multiplayer” → “Community Servers” (if active) or choose “Direct Connect” and enter IP + port 8211. After a short loading screen, they’ll land on your server.

Summary

Palworld multiplayer doesn’t need invite links: Share the server address + port with friends, optionally set a password, and enable the community toggle if the server should be publicly visible. You can adjust the max player count (1–32) in the panel wizard. Next up: crossplay – which platforms can join since v0.5.0.
